Historia
Arthur lives with his father, a fallen but proud former noble, in Border Village #49, along with the other good folks condemned to toil in service to the Baron. But Arthur has an edge: a stolen heart card that secretly fell into his possession, thanks to a dragon. It’s a priceless source of power for the Baron and the tyrant will kill to get it back. Invaluable, too, to a young man of spellcasting ambitions.

Great story and can't wait to hear the next one. I was curious how a deck system would work but I thought the mechanics were perfect. Not overly complicated and the journey of this boy is awesome.

Historia
Fischer has everything he needs in life: blossoming friendships, a menagerie of cute animal companions, a waterfront property with easy access to fishing, and enough coffee to take out a small elephant or a really big dog. Unfortunately, Fischer can’t catch a break. Cosmic forces? Still throwing curveballs. The bigwigs in the capital? Starting to sniff around his business. Cults? Still culting. Plus, awakened beings are washing up on his shores like flotsam after a storm. And worst of all? His coffee guy ghosted him!

Revisado: 07-30-24
Love the characters in this of course, and there is so much humor in many directions of this world and this adventure. *Spoiler* For me though, I wish there would have been a little more action by all these neat characters instead of it being crammed at the end. I almost had to put it away as him and Marie had more banter, more eating, more fishing. It went on forever. He has a girlfriend, cool, but I was screaming "let's get to the action" please.

When summoned to a fantastical world and granted powers by a broken System, most freshly minted protagonists would strap on their big-boy boots and get ready for their stats to start climbing. But Fischer isn't like most MCs. In fact, he doesn't want to be a hero at all. Fame? Fortune? Power? He had enough of all that in his old life. Discovering forbidden fishing techniques and petting every cute animal that comes within scritching distance? Now that's a good time.

Huge LitRPG fan and it's so refreshing just to have loveable creatures and a genuine bloke as a main character. No ridiculous male, no pushed politics, and humor around every corner. Well done!! Can't wait for the next!

Most Boring LitRPG Ever Written
Revisado: 07-12-24
I wasn't a fan of Gods Eye for many reasons but thought that it was just a fluke. But then sadly you some how managed to take all the elements I hated from Book 8 in the Land and combined them with the elements I hated in God's Eye. Another ridiculous and completely unbelievable macho man who's prior military and detached. Womanizing and objectifying women. Ugh what a cliche. Let's put aside your once again overly done and boy fantasy character, the story was so boring with all the self reflection and actualization that I had to go back and listen to several grueling chapters again because my brain wondered off desperate for something interesting. Spoiler: Dude, you realize that your entire book is in the same dang hospital except the first and last chapter???? The entire book. In the same place with just him and his thoughts and a couple fights. How many times I thought to myself, ugh stfu already and move on!!!!!!!!! Last 3 books were a flop dude. I'm out

Revisado: 03-12-23
Loved this book from beginning to end. I like this series a lot but a lot of times I'm filled with anxiety the entire time and very few happy moments are in them. This book was very different...filled with oddities, adventure, and magic. Definitely my favorite so far!

Historia
Magic is fading... and the ways of Man are driving the Old Ones to the West, beyond the ken of humankind. The ancient groves are being destroyed, and if nothing is done, Ireland will lose its essential mystic core. The prophecies of long ago have foretold a way to prevent this horror, and it is the Sevenwaters clan that the spirits of Eire look to for salvation. They are a family bound into the lifeblood of the land, and their promise to preserve the magic has been the cause of great joy to them... as well as great sorrow.

Worst of the series so far
Revisado: 02-28-23
This series for me has always been a challenge for me. I spend most of my time filled with complete anxiety as they exhibit long stretches of gloom and misery and then one single tiny good thing happens. But I like the characters and the lore and environment so I keep listening to these dang books. This one changes to the perspective of "evil one" and it just makes it impossible to have any sympathy. Be prepared for more sad, miserable, awful things to occur the entire book. This characters excuses are horrible and unbelievable. She is pathetic and the longer it goes, the more I hate her.

War is coming. With the reappearance of the Tuatha De, the countryside is thrown into chaos. Entire villages have been obliterated. After a brief reunion with her companions, Finn is stolen away during the night by an unseen foe. Lost and alone, she must put her trust in a stranger if she hopes to reach Migris alive. Yet, nothing is as it seems, and those she trusts most may be the ones to betray her.

Repetitive and boring
Revisado: 09-19-22
*Spoilers* Ok so the first book was slow but interesting so decided to get the second book. I'm sad to report that Finn/Fynn gets kidnapped like 4 times, which now makes it what like 5 times? She has completely exhausted this ridiculousness. The characters are therefore always searching for her. The poor old man spends the entire book searching for her only to end up as a tree. Extremely disappointed and won't be buying the forth.

Another Masterpiece
Revisado: 09-10-22
Can this series get any better? Loved it from beginning to end! I always worry authors will loose steam and write themselves into corners, leaving us dangling on cliffs forever. Kel Kade has delivered us though and I am eager to hear the next part of the story. Highly recommend listening to Mage of No Renown first. You don't have to, but it's more rewarding if you do. Nick...as always proves he is the BEST narrator. Hands down. End of sentence.

She doesn’t know where. She doesn’t know why. She doesn’t even know who kidnapped him. But she will save him. No matter what. Worst Heroine Ever
Revisado: 09-01-22
In my 30 years of reading, Velera is the absolute most stupid and pathetic of Heroines. Lord above this book is 90% introspection of this dumb girl restating everything we already know, her guilt for her stupidity, and asking retoracle questions, just get on with the freaking story already. Then when she actually makes an action, she's too stupid to say anything half the time. All of the actual events in this book could have been condensed into TWO chapters. That leaves all the others is complete stupid internal thoughts. I hated how stupid she was in the last book, except the other characters are actually great so decided to give book 2 a try. I will not be reading the third. If you get this book, feel free to slip all the way to Chapter 39. Narrator is OK...but is a little over dramatic in some areas. Little too much attitude in others.
