When if ever will Bolitar be able to keep his ladyfriend in his life? He needs a break from relationships in general it seems. Hate seeing people long for that but he seems so much more efficient! Sad & lonely but still he doesn't run off on his family. Not sure especially, didn't like the storyline ending. Not that it isn't smartly done. No spoiler here. Worth the read if you appreciate the characters. Next novel comin up!

This was fantastic for a bedtime ritual. Nothing in it makes me feel on edge or anxious. We simply get a narrative of an evening alongside a miracle of nature. Egg laying mammalian creatures that we know very little of it seems. I enjoyed it.

Worth the spin absolutely. I browsed the included items & checking on new to AUDIBLE I found this. I put off my re-read off to try this on. It's great for a "on a short trip" type of read. I recommend it.

Cast is stellar strong... Author new to Me

Enjoy listening and watching the actors here so I may have a bit of bias from the get-go . That stated, I'd not tried anything from the author before now. I ended the story after starting the same evening & had to finish it. It's fun & quite slick without a lot of pretense. It has the usual impossibly factors Yes, however it is a fiction story. I enjoy the strength of these female characters & especially our leading male. Well done 👏

I'd recommend it to teen thriller fans & peers

I enjoy the lead character of Ben as a strong young boy who has terrible circumstances in life. There are decent people out there. Camping, music, and even school pals are made for a lifetime ✨️. I believe Ben should return for another day. I don't do spoilers but THIS place just isn't right. Ben can feel it.

Narrator nabbed me & away I went

I enjoy the Detective 🕵️‍♂️ Gumshoe style caught in the 20-21st Century as an N.Y.P.D. Dick who has a partner that mostly, is perfect in every damn way. Not @ all pretentious but smarter than a lot of novels that are oddly popular. I'd recommend You grab these in COLLECTIONS rather than waiting. If you liked the 1st one... Just, enjoy! These are great fun & I'm just enjoying what it has to offer. Plots & intriguing developments don't seem to get boring with this pair.

Yes like that type of story! Twilight Zone worthy indeed. Terrific acting from the lovely leading character. Nicely done job by David T. which is what we expect I do suppose. Just a few words of advice - if you are a recently widowed person I may skip this one for now. It is the 'yank' in the story & well that's all I should say. Enjoy 😉

Bloody fantastic story & cast!

Liked everything about this story. it tends to overly explain a few bits, yes. However it definitely makes sense so that everyone can follow along. The nick this fabulous powerhouse Detective Paula is assisting for the time, is overwhelmed by the possibility of a serial killer. The pied piper of Hamlin story is ingrained in this & of what the plans might be. She already has a psychological problem She's fighting with in Her own life. The beauty of common damage amongst Cops & regular peoples... amazing how much we are all alike.

I'd like to say more good than bad & so ..

Im a Stephen King fan & He has inspired me to go much further than horror stories. Dramatic fiction is more true than anything. This has a familiar story setting from the so-called 'old school horror' which let's face fact here, classic stories now, as it's fine because this is pre-tech revolution so it works out. Nope! No cellphones. No www. & absolutely nothing wrong with this. The typical grab at a certain physically incapable cast member just bothered me. No spoilers. It's fun to read & I like it mostly. Just sharing I'd appreciate less gorey description & more about the psyche as the male lead is a "counselor" I'm unsure of the term 😀. Enjoy.
