Historia
When Earl Alden is found dead, dangling from a wind turbine, it's his wife, Missy, who is arrested. Unfortunately for Joe Pickett, Missy is his mother-in- law, a woman he dislikes heartily, and now he doesn't know what to do-especially when the early signs point to her being guilty as sin. But then things happen to make Joe wonder: Is Earl's death what it appears to be? Is Missy being set up? He has the county DA and sheriff on one side, his wife on the other, his estranged friend Nate on a lethal mission of his own, and some powerful interests breathing down his neck.

Historia
Jeremiah and Millie are excited about their parent's plan to move to the desert where they'll be able to ride their dirt bikes every day. They're also in support of the bigger dream: to provide a home to kids who need help. As former foster kids, they know what it's like to need a family. But their outing to the desert to search for that property turns into a dangerous adventure when they're stalked by a ghostly skeleton. A high-speed chase and an old man with tales of gold and a secret key add to the mystery.

Review for test group
Revisado: 04-21-21
This is the first Audible book I’ve heard from this series. Originally i got the books for my grandson which is in the target age group. I’ve since been following them too. Good story line that is easy to follow and keeps your interest. Sherry mixes in teaching lessons that are subtle enough not to discourage the listener. I hope that more of her books become available on audio books. Looking forward to them.

Historia
The number one New York Times best-selling story about American Olympic triumph in Nazi Germany, the inspiration for the PBS documentary The Boys of '36, broadcast to coincide with the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 80th anniversary of the boys' gold medal race. Out of the depths of the Depression comes an irresistible story about beating the odds and finding hope in the most desperate of times - the improbable, intimate account of how nine working-class boys from the American West showed the world at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin what true grit really meant.

Wasn't quite sure how I was going to like a book on rowing but was quickly surprised. This is the second book I've heard narrated by Edward Herrmann and really enjoy him as a story teller. This book kept my interest from beginning to end.

Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: Seabiscuit was a runaway success, and Hillenbrand’s done it again with another true-life account about beating unbelievable odds. On a May afternoon in 1943, an Army Air Forces bomber crashed into the Pacific Ocean and disappeared, leaving only a spray of debris and a slick of oil, gasoline, and blood. Then, on the ocean surface, a face appeared....

This book and its subject matter was one of the best I have heard. Just finished it for the second time this year. Kept my attention the whole time.
