There is no PDF guide although the audio keeps referring to the text book. I could not find any book on Amazon. Without the pdf it is an absolutely useless course. I feel that I have just wasted my money.

Errors Galore

The accompanying booklet has fundamental errors and flaws. The correct Farsi word is written but the wrong French word is written corresponding to it. And whole sections of the book have errors like this. As an example in Farsi it is written "Night Bus" but the corresponding entry in french is "I am alone."

The publishers have not put any effort to check their work. It is shoddy. Avoidable.

PDF Accompanying booklet is full of errors !!!

Nice audio book but Audiobook is full of errors

This seems like a good audio book. Learning is mostly by repetition. I do wish that the audio had interactive sections where the learner is asked questions which he has to answer.

I glanced at the pdf and I saw some mistakes in it like on page 28 they erroneously written Il/Elle habitant / Visitant. I do not know how many such errors are there in the pdf. I wish someone had done proof reading. It does not inspire confidence.

I am updating this review from a 3 to a 1 as the pdf is just full of errors after errors. Sorry I expected the publisher to have got somebody to have done the proof reading. Just as an example story 1, Denise is shown grammatically to be a male and not a female as she is intelligent and not intelligente, étudiant and not étudiante etc etc. However in the audio Denise is correctly shown as a female.

Sheer laziness.

Poor Quality Control

Any additional comments?

The format is excellent but even though I am only in lesson 2, I have noticed the following. First there is no written guide to accompany the audio. This makes the process of learning that much more difficult. Secondly I with my limited knowledge of Russian have come across errors such as the Russian pronunciation of Book which should be Kaneega but in the audio it is pronounced as Kaneeshna. That is not very inspiring as I do not know as to what other mistakes there will be. The publisher should do a proper quality check before putting a product in the market.
