kudos to the author great storyline great continuity all the way through you didn't leave anything out you ended it on somewhat of a bittersweet note and it gives you hope in the end I appreciate it very much I haven't been in the military I understood all of what you have done. as to the narrator , you did a great job you always did you were a good actor but you're also voice great voice actor. keep up the work look forward to your next books thank you.

Still keeps me glued to my audiobook

first off I want to say thank you to the authors for continuing this series and I can't wait for the third book in this series I also appreciate the discussion that you had at the end of the book with the former ranger who was your inspiration for in knowledge for all things ranger and having been through part of the ranger training course I agree he's on the money also I wanted to say that if there is an action figure from the 80s that is missing from your repertoire it is Kurt Russell as he was in escape from New York and then escape from LA his Snake plissken character is quite captivating as is the action motivation I do hope that all of you continue your collaboration as you go forward and can't wait until the next one comes out thank you so much.

How can one explain true gifts

God must have blessed the both of you for your skills in weaving a story so engrossing and captivating that you don't want to stop. As for the narrator. I have enjoyed listening to him since his first TV series. To I say, stay well and take heart that your abilities are not overlooked. Your voice resonates in my mind. Thanks to all of you.

beautiful story

I love the story, narrator was spot on, not only the voices but inflection as well. The authers melded the flow of the story but also the character background to everyone. War is a messy business, there are no true winners only survivers and there struggles to pick up the pieces afterwards to go forward. Good story I hope there will be a follow on.

WONDERFUL SEQUEL

I am so happy that you have decided to carry on with the store line. Although the original characters are gone, you brought forth their legacies in new characters, their traits. I want to thank Mr Arenson for realizing his fans desire for more of this story line. As for Mr Kafer, I want you to know that you are my favorite narrator. You have a great voice that I (who is almost totally deaf) can hear with and understand with little to no help in understanding the characters moods and intensions in the book. May both of you continue on with many more literary endeavors. Thank you

As for the narrator I believe that he did an excellent job of the narration and making it easier to see in my mind. Kudos to you and keep it up.
Mr Ringo, I want to tell you that as a fellow veteran that your story hits very close to home. But my biggest question is, how were you able to write this story about a pandemic, albeit a different virus, that almost mirrors what is going on right now 12 years later? The book should be read by all the political leaders of the world. Your insight could provide a framework to avoid the pitfalls we all now face.

BRAVO, great story

From the beginning anyone who's been in the military can relate to the feelings and thoughts that you have placed on paper about going through boot camp. I suspect that it was the Marine Corps, if so then Semper Fi.
When you talked about the memories of lost friends in battle and the torment of those never ending nightmares and how hollow it leaves you, I believe that you were there. May you find the peace that you seek and heal your soul, you are not alone.
As for the rest of the story it kept me focused and looking for the next one to come. You are a great story teller and excellent author.
As for Jeffrey Kafer, his talent is not lost in the story but enhances it. The challenges he must have had to create the many voices to go with all of the characters is top notch, the quality of the recording is very good for someone like me who is almost stone deaf.
Thank You for making this audio book.
