Historia
When a spaceship landed in an open field in the quiet mill town of Sorrow Falls, Massachusetts, everyone realized humankind was not alone in the universe. With that realization everyone freaked out for a little while. Or almost everyone. The residents of Sorrow Falls took the news pretty well. This could have been due to a certain local quality of unflappability, or it could have been that in three years the ship did exactly nothing other than sit quietly in that field, and nobody understood the full extent of this nothing the ship was doing better than the people who lived right next door.

Hard to stop listening...
Revisado: 10-11-16
I rarely write reviews, but this was one of the most enjoyable books I have listened to. You know that when you miss the characters in the book, once you are finished, it was a great book. This was that kind of book. Thank you Gene Doucette!

My new favorite book!!!!
Revisado: 01-04-16
This is one of those books that you hate to finish because the characters are so rich and real that you miss them.
I've always loved Kate Morton's novels, but this one is my favorite. I just finished it and I miss it already. The performance is equally as wonderful as the story. Thank you Kate and Caroline.

I so rarely leave a review, but because this was such a great book, I feel I should. This is one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read or listened to. When you know you will miss the characters in a book, it is a great one. The performance was equally as good. Thank you Mr. Mitzner and Mr. Marantz.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This book is very enjoyable and well written in a style that is not complex and easy to follow.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The subject of the book does the thing that many of us only dreamed of doing. Following his passion into adventure.
What about Jef Brick’s performance did you like?
The narration was perfect for this story and it didn't feel contrived...just right.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I didn't want to stop listening as I wanted to find out what happened next.
Any additional comments?
I don't normally write a review or rate books, but I enjoyed this so much I decided I wanted to thank the author for that enjoyment.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

What did you love best about 14?
The story line and the narration.
Any additional comments?
This is one of those books that you're almost addicted to and find any excuse to go off and listen to it. When it was over, I missed the characters and to me, that is the sign of a well written book. I liked the style of writing, clear and simple....
