Historia
With trademark humor and no-nonsense practicality, Rachel Jankovic explains the fake story of the self, starting with the inventions of a supremely ugly man named Sartre (rhymes with "blart"). And we - men and women, young and old - have bought his lie of the best self, with terrible results.

Really loved this book! It’s grounded in scripture and resonated deeply with me. Also a timely reminder for me on some things. Very grateful.

Historia
What if the goal of raising a Christian girl was about more than keeping her virginity intact? What if it was about raising a strong, independent young woman who knows who she is, uses her voice, and confidently steps into the life God has for her? From the authors of The Great Sex Rescue comes this evidence-based book grounded on surveys of over 28,000 women to offer moms a fresh, freeing, and biblically grounded message of sexuality and self-worth for their daughters that is less about the don'ts and more about the dos.

Thought provoking
Revisado: 11-23-24
It brought up some interesting things to consider. I guess I didn’t grow up in the purity culture because there was a lot I couldn’t relate to despite growing up in a fairly conservative Christian home. I did feel like some of this was reactionary and put me off. I didnt fully disagree but felt they went too far on their response and reactions at times. I also disagree with their take on gender roles.

Love this so much!!!!
Revisado: 10-08-20
This book has such great morals, an amazing father figure, and such a wonderful and meaningful story. There have been some reviews complaining about swearing, there is a small amount of swearing, but nothing other than a couple of grown ranchers saying the D word a few times. This is a wonderful experience and I highly suggest this book to all the little girls and boys over eight. Cameron B. Did an amazing job narrating this story. This is the boy version of the little house on the prairie books, and I enjoyed this even more than them.

Historia
The average Christian in America does not know what his own religion teaches, nor does he care. He may call himself “Christian”, but he lives his life exactly as he wishes, making no attempt to conform his conduct to the commands and tenets of his religion. Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh confronts his fellow Christians in this bold, clear-eyed book that serves as an urgent reminder of Matthew 7:13 - "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."

VERY CONVICTING, A MUST-READ!
Revisado: 07-07-20
A very convicting writing; a great book, that I would highly recommend! Matt Walsh is a very controversial author that points out a lot of truth that is being ignored in the modern-day American church.
