Historia
Thirty five concerts. Seventeen thousand motorcycle miles. Three months. One lifetime. In May 2015 the veteran Canadian rock trio Rush embarked on their 40th anniversary tour, R40. For the band and their fans, R40 was a celebration and, perhaps, a farewell. But for Neil Peart, each tour is more than just a string of concerts; it's an opportunity to explore backroads near and far on his BMW motorcycle. So if this was to be the last tour and the last great adventure, he decided it would have to be the best one, onstage and off.

How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

I do not read fiction. I follow science. I think more should follow science, but what does that get us. Science influencers versus social influencers; the washed and unwashed, what can I say!

Same age, similar story in Wyoming
Revisado: 03-03-21
I found the story interesting,, a sign of the times.
I skateboarded, ran around crazy in the middle of the night and did much of the same drugs. I was a rocker and drove for miles to Salt Lake or Denver for concerts. I guess that the limited access to everything, living in Wyoming was good.. I did all the same drugs excluding those in the vein but the acid and shrooms were good then.
I went off to college in Laramie and graduated from drugs and college. Many I left behind did not. I can relate to Flea's story since mine happened in parallel. The story assured me that no one would listen since I didn't end up famous.

The Wyoming that I know
Revisado: 02-25-21
interesting book. As a Wyoming native, I've watched Jackson evolve though middle class eyes, a couple hundred miles away.
I can only see a state income tax being implemented after the decline of mineral severance tax revenue and I think we found a source for future revenue needs. I can also envision tax refuges fleeing Wyoming already. sad state of affairs.

I really had to listen carefully since it is written at a high level. As an engineer, philosophy is a new frontier for me later in life. I seek to understand.
