This was quite an enjoyable series.
I loved all the books in this series and was pleasantly surprised by how the last book went.
I did prefer the female narrators though. Whilst I say that I wasn’t that the male narrator was bad or did a poor job quite the opposite actually, He just wasn’t what I felt was the right narrator for the book that he did.
All of the narrators had easy to listen to voices and all spoke very clearly. There was one book though where the narrator mistakes weren’t edited out properly.
Overall would I recommend this series yes

What a truly enjoyable listen. I wasn’t really sure on what I was expecting from this book but I certainly got a better listen than I was expecting. It was a wonderful different take on I guess you could say fairies but centred around Robin Goodfellow and Joey a middle aged lady have a guess a bit of a midlife crisis. And about a bargain the two of them made. But that’s all I’m telling you. I can say yes give this book a go you’ll be pleasantly surprised

Three books in and this series hasn’t lost its touch if anything this series is heating up. There is lots of character growth and a storyline that is just holding the readers/listeners attention. We’ve got a pixie doing detox, a cleaning lady who’s becoming a PI has a confusing personal life and it’s only getting better. I’m really looking forward to see where this series is going.
Love the narration the narrator really brings this series to life.

Just when you think life has thrown it all at you no it throws another curve ball. And the end of this book is no exception. And either Nico or the nice police officer is going to get this next phone call maybe both of them. And damn can that pixie/vamp get a laugh out of my she has a temper to beat anyone an attitude to boot.
This series is not what I was expecting it’s better. I’ll definitely being looking into listening to more of this series.
Also the narrator is doing a wonderful job.

Cleaning or Detective

What a fun and enjoyable listen. This story was easy to listen to with great characters some of whom will give you a laugh others you’ll be second guessing their motives. I love the idea of the Venus fly trap that was very creative. And just when you thought it was all going to be wrapped up nicely you get thrown a twist. Overall I enjoyed this book and the narrator has a pleasant voice to listen to.

Interesting twists

Well this books saw a few things happen not all of them good not all of them bad either. We’ve seen friendships form, the death of many, betrayal of others. Now it looks like the Kiln is about to fall apart and the biggest of enemies may just be about to be free. And I’m not liking the area in which he’s about to become free. It could be the end of it all. I really hope that in the last book a few of the characters get a chance at happiness.

Books 1-3

Vamps contains the books Cursed, Smolder and Fire.
Cursed is the lead up to this series and whilst short you get let hanging and wanting more from this book. Lucan makes a major mistake which now he and his brothers must also pay for.
Smolder and we meet Michel the Vampire and Nike a firefighter who likes to party at Vamps after work. But with Michel having old enemies life for this couple isn’t going to be easy. Nike finds herself caught in the middle of all of it.
Fire we get to meet Maya again who is Nike’s best friend and also a firefighter and Tristan a witch and the new owner of Vamps. Their story as the title states is full of fire, Maya is the spark to Tristan’s fire.
Each book is not quiet complete in my opinion we do get snippets of the other couples as the series moves on. So I suggest it is best to listen/read this series from the start.

Wanting more

Tracy works at Vamps and she likes to talk to the statue there but one night after work an ex decides to threaten her that’s when we get to meet Danton and well he’s not what he seems and for him. Now he’s got 24 hours and he has to convince Tracey to spend them with him.
I found this sweet story of love that couldn't happen but some how they managed it. The writing keeps the listener involved and vested in the story until the last word, I found myself wanting more from this story.

The saga continues

Wow each book in this series gets better and better.
Mike is a computer geek, but also an up and coming rock star with the band The Velvet Cocks.
Allana has a yoga class and is opening her own studio. She had a one night stand with Mike a while back.
When they meet again at Vamps, and underground club, she is being attacked.
Something in Mike compels him to protect and watch over her. She is fed up that he doesn't seem to remember her from their one night stand.
And this is where things get interesting will they work through their issues and have the lives that they want?
I’m enjoying this series so far and look forward to more of it.

Enjoyable story

Well this story was different from the first this time Eli gets his chance at love and it comes from the last place you’d expect. Wyatt is taking some time out to contemplate and clear his head after a break up but things don’t quite go to plan.
Eli and Wyatt make an amazing couple and the fact that they both have common interests should help their relationship along.
The narrator is doing a great job so far in this series.
