Historia
The Karen Read trial captured attention throughout New England, making front page headlines for more than two years. Could an attractive, educated and successful woman be capable of the cold-blooded killing of her boyfriend, a respected Boston police officer? The trial lasted nine weeks. The prosecution’s case hinged on a series of statements she reportedly made when first responders arrived on the scene and a broken taillight on her SUV. Decent account of the trial

The AI didn't get some pronunciations right, but it was almost comical and broke up the seriousness of the content. I thought the guilty meter was interesting because my opinions were completely opposite.

Historia
For years, Becky had known about the rumors of corruption and crime surrounding the Murdaugh family. These accusations came and went, nothing sticking long enough to bring clarity or a clear conviction. Becky had also known of good deeds done by the Murdaughs. She was there when Randolph Murdaugh received the Order of the Palmetto, the highest honor bestowed on a civilian by the governor of South Carolina. What she didn’t know was that Richard Alexander “Alex” Murdaugh was capable of murdering his own wife and son.

I wish I could get my time back

I was excited to listen to this book. I was hoping to learn more about how the day to day of the trial was outside of the courtroom. That is not what this book turned out to be.
From the repetitive phrases and explainations to the mispronounced words, it was hard to finish. It felt like an essay that was added to meet a required word count. There's no need to repeat definitions or continually call it the "trial of the century" The case or the trial would have been just fine.
The very little opinion and insight of the trial that are in it are heavily outweighed by the lengthy explanations of her relationships with every person and a personal thank you to them.
Given recent events, it is interesting that this book is now evidence in allegations of corruption against Mrs. Hill.
