Historia
His human father named him Cam, as he and his clan were chameleon cats. Kol-ha is what the clan called him, which means shame in clannish. Being a half-breed, Cam was not allowed to take the test to become a clan member. Cam decides that rather than not being worthy to be part of the clan, the clan is not worthy of him. Taking nothing, he leaves the clan to find his place in the world. Though ignorant of the ways of the "outside" world, Cam is a quick learner. His first lesson is the outside world is at war, and he is inadvertently drawn into it.

Really enjoyable
Revisado: 01-16-22
A Rags to Riches story following a steampunk Cat-Man in a world built for his taking. Ready for #2! I'm a Science Fiction reader but delved into the series after finding it on GoodReads recommendations and couldn't be happier. My only regret is that there is only one book! Great for a snowy winters day or a window chill session with the family's cat. light listening and no doubt fun for young and old alike.

Historia
Captain Arturo Sanders was having a bad day. First the routine destruction of some ancient automatic defense batteries became a disaster, when his ship’s screens failed, and he had no choice to abandon ship. Then he had to rescue two left behind crew people, which meant he missed the main shuttle evacuation leaving him and his two companions in a shuttle on their own at the rear.

after seeing the paper copy, I don't think we should blame the Narrator so harshly. Often people with new ideas might be amazing creators but lack lets say... writing acumen. If you can look past these faults, do give the story a go. If only so Audible will produce the next book for the rest of us hahaha. I love this sub genre and have at least 7 similar novels under the belt but love this story for its groundbreaking. I do recommend trying it. Experienced listeners will have no problem.

Historia
The first interstellar war, a generation ago, left humanity enslaved. Now humans fight in the armies of their masters to save themselves from annihilation. At least, that's what the propaganda insists is true. What the layers of lies keep hidden is how badly the new war is going for the people of earth. Now it's Dylan Kane's turn to blast into the heavens and join the battle, but what his masters don't know is that by putting a weapon in his hands, they're giving him the key to unlocking his hopes of freedom.

Free. Entertaining. Space battles. Not bad.

Not hard science fiction and not the overly gunghoe garbage can goo that comes from a teenagers mind. A fine story of the search for freedom among the stars. Great for a quick pickup and an easy put down. As a Vet’ I cringe much of the time at civilian attempts at the Mil-sci genre but so far it’s bearable. It was free too! Thanks Audible/ Adair. I will be keeping my eye out for purchasable titles.

Historia
Knocking at death’s door. Bargaining for a second chance. Seems like a heck of a way to find out about an alien invasion.... Vietnam vet Albert Jenkins is battling a bulging waistline and a passion for drink. So when a towering pile of scrap rocket parts falls and crushes the stubborn curmudgeon, he thinks it’s finally the end. But just as he’s about to take one final breath, a snarky alien parasite offers him a deal: His life in return for sharing his body.

Great new science fiction!
The new ideas were introduced through very clear and simple use of the Sci-Fi medium and the characters are relatable while not too complex, perfect introduction to the genre /or a perfect listen for when you want to do a physical task but still have an experienced narrator walk you through a new and exciting world. I am sold and ready for the next in the series! thank you for your hard work Jamie McFarlane, Mikael Naramore and Audible team!
Action, romance, mystery and SPACE SHIPS!

Bob Johansson didn't believe in an afterlife, so waking up after being killed in a car accident was a shock. To add to the surprise, he is now a sentient computer and the controlling intelligence for a Von Neumann probe. Bob and his copies have been spreading out from Earth for 40 years now, looking for habitable planets. But that's the only part of the plan that's still in one piece.

A perfect accompaniment!
Revisado: 04-23-17
A space opera written as an analysis of human sentience while adding those little bits of "hard sci-fi" that keep the more Vulcan minds fully engaged. The humor of the author combined with a deep connection with the protagonist creates a family of unique characters, great subplots and fun in the depths of space. If you treasure Scalzi, Heinlein and Ringo( as I do), book two will keep you wanting another bite of the Bob universe.

Historia
Bitter and merciless war is coming to the frozen north. It's bloody and dangerous and the Union army, split by politics and hamstrung by incompetence, is unprepared for the slaughter that's coming. Lacking experience, training, and in some cases even weapons, the army is scarcely equipped to repel Bethod's scouts, let alone his elite forces. In the heat-ravaged south, the Gurkish are massing to assault the city of Dagoska, defended by Inquisitor Glokta.

AMAZING!
Revisado: 02-02-11
This series might just drain all of my credits in my account. Before They Are Hanged was writen with such vivid detail as if the writer was there him-self. I'm 16 years old, makeing it not that much easier to stem the flow of imagination and imagery that cut through the senses as if i were a character in the story.
