Historia
In the eight kingdoms, none have greater strength or influence than the asha, who hold elemental magic. But only a bone witch has the power to raise the dead. Tea has used this dark magic to breathe life into those she has loved and lost...and those who would join her army against the deceitful royals. But Tea's quest to conjure a shadowglass, to achieve immortality for the one person she loves most in the world, threatens to consume her. Tea's heartsglass only grows darker with each new betrayal. They all feed the darkrot that is gradually consuming her heartsglass.

Get in the damn arcanomech, Shinji!
Revisado: 10-31-22
The idea that taking away one tool will somehow fix human nature is short-sighted and dangerous. The existence of weapons is not a good enough reason to Never Science Again.

Historia
The king is dead, and any dreams of conquest have died with him. Now the Teralian army can dedicate their focus towards hunting the man who brought it all about. Fugitives for treason, Declan and his friends must slip past the nation's borders into the treacherous wildlands beyond. Trapped in a world of Faeries and whispers and prophecies, they chart their course for the Seat of the Tempest and for whatever powerful entity demanded his presence.

It Was Hard To Forgive The 3rd Genocide
Revisado: 11-12-21
I have rarely read a series with so unrelatable and morally reprehensible a main character. By the 3rd time he intentionally slaughtered 100's of people because he was having a temper tantrum, I just gave up on him. I tried to focus on the side characters, but of course Declan kept rejecting or killing all of them. The "grand climax" that the end of the book tried to reach for was unearned, with very little groundwork done to prepare for it, and really just felt like a convenient way for the main character to feel better about his innumerable crimes. Terrible characterizations and an inability on the author's part to truly face the ramifications of their character's actions undid any interesting world-building achieved in the early parts of the series.
