Way way too long

Overwritten, overdramatized, overdone. Female lead is weak at best and male lead is a complete DH. Sorry, just tired of books like this. Wrong genera for me. Last time I select this author. Shame the narrators waste their time. Hope they get paid well.

HORRIBLE NARRATION

Stupid... just stupid

Just stupid ... not sure why so many positive reviews. Maybe people are getting free copies/credits and paid for the positive reviews. The book is just not good.

The female narrator was annoying. I’ve listen to her before and never found her particularly entertaining but tolerable. However, I literally skipped over most of the chapters that she voiced. She helped make the book sound even more stupid and silly. The way she portrayed the female did make her sound like a stupid, ditzy, nut job. Then again, she was just reading the book. I just feel like maybe Andi Arndt could have made it sound less childish and stupid.

Jacob Morgan was the only reason I finished the book. Even though the male lead was just as stupid. I thought I’d give the second book a chance even after returning the first, lesson learned.

Hardly a love story

Not sure about all the 4 and 5 stars. Other than the narration the book was awful. Male lead was awful, other than a few moments, and the female lead is a doormat. I wish authors would stop making such weak female characters.

I love these narrators however the book is 90% female which negates the duel point of you.. The female who was left by the love of her life for 10 years while he had Sex with a list actresses but yet comes back to her and she still loves him. I will not be reading another one of these were listening to another one of these by this author

I am returning this book. First of all, I should have read more reviews before buying it, (Always check Amazon for more reviews) It ends on a cliffhanger apparently, and the second book isn't out yet. It is getting very old that these authors are continuing to do this. I'm getting to the point that I will start staying away from those that continue to take advantage of their readers. Here is the spoiler that is causing me to return this book; The "hero" in the book, pays for dates and sex. The only reason he ended up with the "heroin" is because his "escort" canceled. He then see's her in a bar, and offers to pay her to go on the date with him. Not that I will bother to listen, but I'm assuming she will have sex with him too. Stupid, just stupid.

Too long and cliffhanger with 10 book to follow

Just couldn’t bring myself to get the next book. This was long drama filled and ended with more drama which I had already guessed before the “cliffhanger “... cannot deal anymore with this story.

Very immature female lead. No way someone 10 years older, divorced and a dad of three would deal with that. More like a teenage babysitter verses a 27 year old Nanny.

Couldn’t Finish

No real story ... very boring. Not going to finish the series. Humor was cheesy and immature.
