Another wild winner!

DeLeon is the queen of hyperbole. Listening to the crazy antics of Swamp Team 3 is like watching a Roadrunner Cartoon. I especially like the fact that she leaves sex to our imaginations. I'm listening to all her previous books while waiting for the next book. The cliff hanger of Marsh Madness is epic.

My prayers go out to Jana for the tragic loss of her husband.

So many books in the "In Death" series. Yet Robb managed to create a unique type of murder to close. I enjoyed how Peabody deciphered teenaged slang for Dallas.

Robb delivers again.

I have all the "In Death" books, some in both written and audio formats. Robb frequently refers to a previous investigation in later books. I'm disappointed that there has been no follow-up to "Forgotten in Death". In that book several people asked about the young woman's family. I'd like to know if any of her family had been located and notified.

"Payback" has an interesting plot and is void of gory violence. I actually laughed out loud at several humorous conversations. I enjoy the continued character development not only of people within NYPSD, but also Eve's friends and Roarke's family. It's good to see Peabody get more respect as her detective skills grow. But it's time for her to have access to Eve's coffee without groveling.


I want a droid to help around the house and might enjoy having an auto chef.

One of her best

After listening to the first few chapters, I was so confused because there are many characters. So I downloaded the e-book and read it. I recommend reading the book before enjoying the audio.

Terrible narration

I could barely hear the narrator who spoke too softly. But the singing nearly blasted my eardrums. The previous book in the series left us on a cliff-hanger. Who was the man coming to speak with Father Tim? We left them on an island. This book was clearly out of sequence.

Abridged and terrible narration

I read other reviews with the same complaints but ordered it anyway. Started it but can't stand to listen anymore. Don't know which character is speaking unless the person is named. I read the series years ago. I'll go back and read this one. Also, I find the music annoying.

It doesn't fit

I have all of Robb's "In Death" novels. Many I read or listen to multiple times. I won't listen to this one again. I tend to agree with those reviews that wonder if Robb actually wrote this. Many of her books reference previous cases, so I hoped this book would mention the Jane Doe in "Forgotten in Death". Did they locate any of her family members?

This book just doesn't fit into the series. A disappointment.

I love the Virgin River series and own all of them. This one disappointedl me. The story and the characters had no depth And the ending was very predictable

One of my favorites by Maeve Binchy!

I own most of Binchy's books and reread them every few years. This book precedes another favorite, "Quentins". Why hasn't it been recorded?? Binchy is a masterful storyteller and develops her characters so well that I feel I know them. "Quentins" finishes the story and I want an audio copy of it.
