Historia
Dalinar Kholin's Alethi armies won a fleeting victory at a terrible cost. The enemy Parshendi summoned the violent Everstorm, which now sweeps the world with destruction and in its passing awakens the once peaceful and subservient parshmen to the horror of their millennia-long enslavement by humans. While on a desperate flight to warn his family of the threat, Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with the fact that the newly kindled anger of the parshmen may be wholly justified.

Great Book, so so narration
Revisado: 04-23-22
I've been following these narrators through this series and another series they did, and typically I don't have a problem with them. but in this book the female changed up the voices so bad about halfway through the book it really got distracting. it's still a great book though.

Ayla, one of the most remarkable and beloved heroines in contemporary fiction, continues to explore the world and the people around her with curiosity, insight, and, above all, courage. As the story opens, Ayla, Jondalar, and their infant daughter, Jonayla, are living with the Zelandonii in the Ninth Cave - a shelter of stone. Ayla has been chosen as an acolyte and has embarked on the arduous task of training to become a spiritual leader.

Boring!
Revisado: 10-15-20
I've read every book in the series, all of them could be a little boring due to trying to explain the historical aspect, but this one was just simply horrible. there was more historical than story to it and it was a struggle to get through. the narrator did a good job though.

So so storyteller...
Revisado: 09-27-19
The book was good, and the storyteller got better as she went along, but the beginning was hard to stick with with her reading.
