A few lessons to learn on what makes people happy. 34 hour work weeks, adequate time off to adjust to a new baby in the family are a couple of the basics.

I was looking for an audiobook to learn the history of 4-H. I didn’t read the fine print under the title before I purchased. Made it through the first chapter before requesting a refund. This is a strange book where the author tries to integrate sexuality into the history of 4-H and it doesn’t make any sense. A lot of opinions are added in as well as political agendas. Not what was looking for- I just wanted to learn more about the start up and history of 4-H.

I read it 10 years ago and thought about it and the lessons I learned a lot over the years. It’s inspiring to hear how simple it is to be healthy and live a long time.

I’ve listened to 20-30 audiobooks so far. I like that Jim added accents and voices for parts, and mostly had a calm and interesting voice throughout the book. It was one of the most interesting audiobooks I’ve listened to and drew in the whole family as we listened to it on a cult road trip in Arizona.

The author paints a doomsday story that only Fauci and his team from the NIH can save the world. This story is all about how humble Fauci is and how he’s doing his best to save everyone. But, the story reveals how Fauci and his team from NIH have been trying to develop a universal vaccine where you can just plug in a virus and it will work. It’s a great idea and lovely theory, but as of January 2022, doesn’t seem to have worked. Although written in a positive light for Fauci, it’s clear he has been given too much authority and responsibility for every human’s health. Other ideas and treatments have been blocked and only Fauci’s teams ideas were allowed to be tried during the current pandemic. The audiobook talks about how Fauci led the way through the AIDS epidemic of the 80s and how he works long hours, is so humble, and does the best he can- again given too much authority to be the only Dr allowed to try his ideas and make decisions for everyone. The author discusses the importance of lab work to try and get diseases to jump from animals to people, so that they can be prepared for this to happen with a vaccine. This is the Gain of Function research that Rand Paul has been grilling him about. They admit to doing it right here in this audiobook. It’s too risky and this audiobook makes it very clear that covid very likely came from a lab where humans were studying gain of function research. I recently learned about Munchaeson’s Syndrome by Proxy, and I think Fauci may have this. He loved all the attention he got treating people during the AIDs epidemic and needed more attention for being a hero for his miracle universal vaccine. He never discusses medicines or treatments for covid- just his miracle vaccine that isn’t working. I think he likes the attention for being in charge and wants to keep us all sick so he can keep this going. I listened to this book to try to learn more about him from his perspective and a positive perspective, but it made me distrust his motives even more.

I’m thankful Michelle Obama wrote this book to help us all see what it’s like living in the White House and being in politics. It was humbling to hear her and Barack’s stories about their families, their love for each other and their care for our country. Thank you, Michelle!
