Frustrated by narration & spicy scenes

This book would have been so much better with dual narration. Both narrators were good doing their main character, but Brooke’s male voice just didn’t work.
The spicy scenes were too drawn out and there were too many. Having fewer, well done scenes would have been better.
Overall, it was a cute story!

I am a huge Marian Zapata fan! She is queen of the slow burn and Kulti is one of her best.
I was so curious about a newer version of one of my favorite books that I decided to give it a try.
I loved the little bonus chapter at the end, but I will never listen to this version again.
Callie Dalton did a good job with the original. There were some moments that could have been better when she was doing Kulti, but overall it was just better.

I have listened to other S.L. Scott books before. It has been some time though. Maybe this is the norm and some people love it.,?

I decided to listen to this on a whim. It is not what I typically pick genre wise.
I loved all of the different narrators.
There was never a dull moment to the story. It kept me guessing right until the end.

This was an exceptional book!
I loved all of the layers the story and characters had.
The book felt fresh. Nothing like anything I have listed to before, which is saying something. Many books seem to be very predictable and just a different version of another book, but not this one!

Did not disappoint

Once again, another amazing book in this series!
J. Bengtsson is by far my favorite author. It does not get any better than the Cake series.
I appreciate that the books in this series came out as I’m assuming the stories of each of the McAllister children’s stories spoke to her. Too many authors just pump out a series quickly and it shows. I’d rather wait and have a book as engaging as Grace Note.

I loved the story! The bigger surprise was how much I loved the narration. Finally some new females! They were perfect! I really hope to start hear Rachel Boston more. She should would be perfect for so many romance books.

This was a great book! The chapters were unnecessarily confusing. No need to try to put a creative spin on something like that. It’s one thing to voice between the past and present, but the chapter titles drive me crazy.
Definitely worth a credit though!

A little rushed, but great!

I struggle with books that have depth and really could have even more, but instead of diving in they just scratch the surface. Instead of adding to the book there were a bunch of things that were just tied up in the epilogue. Rushed!
Overall it was a good book. Jacob Morgan is always great. I think this my first listen with Nadia Noble. She did a great job! I hope to hear her on some more books!
