Historia
Fumio Sasaki is not an enlightened minimalism expert or organizing guru like Marie Kondo - he's just a regular guy who was stressed out and constantly comparing himself to others, until one day he decided to change his life by saying goodbye to everything he didn't absolutely need. The effects were remarkable: Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him.

First minimalist book
Revisado: 10-07-20
Andddd I liked it. I’ve already begun minimizing my belongings over the past few years... so it’s not like I needed a nudge or convincing.
BUT, this book was insightful and I enjoyed the story behind Sasaki-san’s personal life and how practicing minimalism made his life much more fulfilling.
I’ve always hated homeownership and while I was listening to this book.. it made me realize that I hated the chores and time and costs associated with owning homes. Yeah it’s nice to have your own place ... but replacing the AC, constantly mowing the yard, pressure washing and all the other chores associated with maintenance and upkeep. I hate the process and still do.
I love you humans, I hope we all lead more lives in less consumerism and more minimalism. Cheers

COULD'VE BEEN 5 STARS IF.....
Revisado: 09-23-20
If only the Master himself Master P actually narrated it... The story itself was incredible. I love this guy's mentality and process starting from nothing.
Hearing someone else narrate his story when P has a great speaking voice is only slightly disappointing... it didn't detract from the story so that's fine. No disrespect LST, you read it well, but you're just not my cup of tea.
Must read? Probably... I've already recommended it to a few. If you're thinking this is just another black rapper that made it. It's not that kind of story. P is a true entrepreneur and hustler... his story and process will fascinate, captivate, encapsulate blah blah blah... just fucking download it. It's worth it.

Great Story, Okay performance, but not for me.
Revisado: 09-14-20
This feels like an episode from an 80s sitcom/drama. Which, if you're into nostalgic acting then you might enjoy this short story.
The voice acting would be dated even for today's kids. I was trying to see if I could gain some insight for my kids in the near future (age 9 and 6) but I would say they would probably not listen to this story.
For where I am in life (34, family, small business owner) I do not recommend it. It's basically a "Rich Dad Poor Dad" excerpt.

Historia
The law of attraction is based on the idea that everything in the universe has a polarity, meaning that everything - from the food you eat to the people you talk to, to the things you say to the things you think - contains either a positive or a negative kind of energy. Notice that being with people who complain or rant a lot tends to make you feel bad, even though you're not exactly experiencing what they're going through - that's the law of attraction working its magic. When you focus on positive stuff, then more positive stuff will happen to you.

This was better than I had hoped for. Positive affirmations are a good thing. I recently defeated my negative mindset as I got into my 30s... and shit like this is good for a refresher. I really enjoyed the last part of the audio recording. Thanks for doing this mate.

Wanda is great. However, MLK is the GOAT.
Revisado: 04-18-20
Not to downplay Wanda's narration of this incredible speech. But I truly wish we could have this audio version in MLK's voice. I feel it's missing that extra oomph when delivered from the original speaker.
Nevertheless, the words are inspiring, emotional, and incredibly deep. You can feel the the emotions even when it's read by a great female comedian. I will look for a written copy because the words are just so well written... it needs to be heard in your head by your imaginary MLK voice. I think it's just that good.
Fuck, these are some crazy times. It was only 1-2 people ago that our nation was segregated and heavily racist. What a time... I'm not African-American. I'm an Asian living during these strange economic times (CORONAVIRUS AKA CHINA VIRUS).
Let's remember that we all deserve the chance to try at a better life. Doesn't mean we all deserve everything.. we've got to strive, and work hard and treat people with love and respect. Treat your neighbors well, care for your fellow man. Push forward and fucking move this planet in the right direction full of kindness, gratitude and love. I fucking love anyone that's reading this, may all your wildest dreams come to fruition. -the6paths.com

Historia
"Manifesto of the Communist Party" by Karl Heinrich Marx and Friedrich Engels is a book where, for the first time, the aims, tasks and methods of fight of the emerging communist organisations and parties of the nineteenth century were declared and explained. It is the greatest philosophic and political treatise that is important in some way even nowadays. According to experts, Manifesto is a powerful work that still can be used as a good method to mobilize people.

Interesting
Revisado: 04-18-20
I am a commie bastard...
When it comes to my immediate family.
Expand that reach to include my close friends and I become a hardcore Socialist.
I want all my friends and family to do well, eat well, and live extraordinary fucking life.
Now include people outside of my community... and I become a democratic bastard somewhat.
My political views are based on scale. If I don't know you, I don't fuck with you, but I want to get to know you, so we can fuck with each other in a positive environment pushing our communities to grow and expand in terms of livelihood, love, health, and wealth.
But, at scale, communism is fucking terrible. It doesn't work. We have hundreds of years of data of this ideology being completely failed. Either way, it's still interesting to listen to the thought process behind it.
I love you, and I hope the person reading this becomes the one to set us free from the Matrix.
Pull me out, and pull out. We don't need more people, we need more lovers of independent creative thinking. -the6paths.com

Now, for the first time, Seth Godin offers the core of his marketing wisdom in one compact, accessible, and timeless package. This Is Marketing shows you how to do work you're proud of, whether you're a tech start-up founder, a small-business owner, or part of a large corporation. Great marketers don't use consumers to solve their company's problem; they use marketing to solve other people's problems. Their tactics rely on empathy, connection, and emotional labor instead of attention-stealing ads. When done right, marketing seeks to make change in the world.

Seth Godin. I haven't heard or read something from Seth that I have not absolutely loved over the past half decade. The guy just spits out a shitload of amazing content and great thinking concepts. Thank god he narrates his own books... this is definitely a must read and is current with the times (2020). Love you Seth, thank you for all your great knowledge and teaching... I've learned more from you than any educational program I've been dragged through.
