I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying!
Revisado: 12-13-22
I've listened to hundreds of audiobooks and I'm pretty picky when it comes to stories, but this is truly a 5 star experience. At first I was skeptical about following a new storyline, but the arc quickly pulled me in. The characters were so convincing that by the middle of the book I was looking forward to those chapters more than the ones featuring Vita.
Beware, though, because this one is going to turn you into an emotional wreck!

This book is bananas good!
Revisado: 11-09-18
It's got a friendship you'll get invested in from page one. It's got got more solid scares than any Stephen King novel. It's got that weird 80s magic.
I came looking for a scary story with solid characters and plot, and I came away not sleeping at night. Mission accomplished

When you discover the world is a computer program, and you figure out that by altering the code you can time travel and perform acts that seem like magic, what can possibly go wrong? Pretty much everything. Just ask Brit, who has jumped around in time with such abandon that she has to coexist with multiple versions of herself. Now, Brit the Elder finds that her memories don't match Brit the Younger's.

Confronts the Paradoxes head on
Revisado: 08-20-18
After book 4 I'll be honest I thought the series was petering out. The premise is so complicated and raises so many logical incongruities that it should be nigh impossible to sort them out. So, we got books 3 and 4 which basically avoid the question. Well, here it is. Book 5 tackles the questions and inconsistencies that powers like time travel and memory editing bring up. And it does this through a very entertaining story.
That being said, this book is much darker than the previous four. And it's also incredibly complicated, so if you're expecting a light read like the previous four you'll be disappointed. Still, this is my favorite book in the series. Well played.

Historia
In a world full of super powers, Felix has a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. With that in mind, Felix settled into a normal life. A normal job. His entire world changes when the city he lives in is taken over by a super villain. Becoming a country of one city. A city state.

Engaging!

You really get invested in this story and I'll be reading more from this author soon! It's got a vivid world and a great premise, even if the slavery angle is very sketchy.
The narrator does an awesome job and the vocal effects are definitely appreciated. It does get a little slow when reading through point sheets sometimes, but it's not over done.

Best book in the series
Revisado: 09-27-17
Out of all five books this one is the smartest, the best characterized, and the most epic. Not only do you get to see a little of the daily life in the Mount, you get introduced to some pretty awesome new characters. Plus, Legion and Cairax make for excellent villains. Seriously the other books are good but this one is great! AUDIBLE 20 REVIEW SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY

There's a reason We Are Legion was named Audible's Best Science Fiction Book of 2016: Its irresistibly irreverent wit! Bob Johansson has just sold his software company for a small fortune and is looking forward to a life of leisure. The first item on his to-do list: Spending his newfound windfall. On an urge to splurge, he signs up to have his head cryogenically preserved in case of death. Then he gets himself killed crossing the street. Waking up 117 years later, Bob discovers his mind has been uploaded into a sentient space probe with the ability to replicate itself.

Couldn't Stop Listening
Revisado: 01-19-17
This story is so unique and creative that I couldn't put it down. Plus it's so massive in scope that I'm really looking forward to the next installments. The Bobs are relatable and have separate personalities while each obviously coming from the same base person. This story is impressive and, well, cool

Historia
In a quiet residential area in London, a couple is discovered bound and imprisoned in their own home. Savagely battered and severely dehydrated, the worst revelation is yet to come: their eight-year-old son has been abducted. But when the body is found and forensic evidence turns the case on its head, revealing disturbing parallels to events in Detective Caffery's own past, Caffery realizes he's dealing with much more sinister forces than he'd anticipated - and finds it increasingly difficult to maintain his distance.
