Excellent Foreshadowing

I truly enjoyed this series!

First, it feels as though this could have been written in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic as it captures the fear and dissent of civilization when a outbreak/pandemic happens. The narration was pretty good and I think the plot, carried over three books, was just right. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who loves a realistic dystopian story.

This was a wonderful play! If you love mystery, thriller and suspense… This is for you. The story/plot was really great, Although I wish this was a longer production. I could easily see this being turned into an independent film. To sum it up, this gave me the original Twilight Zone vibe!

I really enjoyed this short story!

While brief, it did put forth an ethical dilemma that I don’t think many of us would want nor was the solution one that we would desire either. If you enjoy good conversation, this book will give that to you and your cohorts in spades!

A Sweet Romance

I have to say that I genuinely loved this story!!

From the actors, to the plot, this Audible Original was one of the best I’ve ever listened to. I was in thralled by Amanda‘s journey of discovering who she was and what she wanted in her life and it didn’t hurt that it didn’t seem fake. This was an excellent listen!

Range of Thoughts

I went through a range of thoughts and feelings as I listened to this book — some of the excitement, others of bafflement and finally not caring.

Overall the story is decent. I like how there is a feel between The National Treasure and Mad Max movies. The reader does a decent job as well. Eventually, I stop focusing on his ability and got into the story. There were a couple of instances where the audio repeated itself and that was very offputting.

The plot seemed rushed in some areas and I was left wanting more. I was a bit confused at how the story ended but I do want to know what happens to a few of the main characters.

A Real World Romance

It’s really hard for me to put into words how truly enjoyable this book is…

This story, along with the others in the series, really touch on what it means to bring two different people together — culturally, background, etc. — and I appreciate the offer for it. This particular book in the series really hit home for me. As a black man, you’re often told that “you’re not enough“ in one way or another. I’ve often felt that in my 40 years of life. It was good to see the struggle that many of us go through when trying to embrace love but at the same time hold everything together and how it sometimes makes us miss out on things. I love how this was not papered over in any form or fashion. Please, please read not only this book but the entire series. You won’t be disappointed…

Truly Romantic Love Story Truly romantic love story

I really liked how the author used these characters to put a face on what it's like to be LGBT in a relationship. The fear, the happiness, sadness, the confusion and every emotion was found in this story through all of the characters. Bravo

Excellent Follow up

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The narration was on point, the plotline was very good and I like how the characters were fleshed out.

This really delved into why our main characters are the way they are. It was the right mix of plot and steamy, passionate sex scenes.
