Historia
As one of the few witches in Britain, Mika Moon knows she has to hide her magic, keep her head down, and stay away from other witches so their powers don’t mingle and draw attention. And as an orphan who lost her parents at a young age and was raised by strangers, she’s used to being alone and she follows the rules...with one exception: an online account, where she posts videos "pretending" to be a witch. She thinks no one will take it seriously.

Fun and whimsical
Revisado: 12-04-23
A wonderfully told tale with magic and love. The inclusive and diverse cast of characters allowed for a heartwarming story of acceptance and family.

Historia
1828. Robin Swift, orphaned by cholera in Canton, is brought to London by the mysterious Professor Lovell. There, he trains for years in Latin, Ancient Greek, and Chinese, all in preparation for the day he’ll enroll in Oxford University’s prestigious Royal Institute of Translation—also known as Babel. Babel is the world's center for translation and, more importantly, magic. Silver working—the art of manifesting the meaning lost in translation using enchanted silver bars—has made the British unparalleled in power, as its knowledge serves the Empire’s quest for colonization.

A message for the ages
Revisado: 11-29-23
Wonderful storytelling that both engages the reader and brings symbolic reminders to how our world today is held hostage by the colonial experience.

Wonderful!
Revisado: 11-02-23
How wonderful to be granted a “behind the man” glimpse of a well loved star. His humility and comic errors make Stewart’s life all the more relatable. That we all could look back at our follies with such a sense of humor! Stewart’s love for the art of acting and professionalism shine through this memoir. Thank you for sharing your life with your fans!

Very general information
Revisado: 03-04-21
This is a very general overview. There is almost no scientific information other than the listing of ages and distances of objects. Then the author spends the bulk of his time trying to convince the readers that Big Bang is not a theory but the religion of atheists. If you are going to write a science book ...let’s stick with science.
