I bought the book because I liked the first book. The second book was the same exact book with the names changed. I felt cheated out of my credit.

Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Really disappointed
Revisado: 11-08-23
I was disappointed as I thought people became a Navy Seal, or the other elite armed forces to be the best tactical team to do the extreme job they were trained to do. I didn’t know that someone could join just to enjoy the fact they could be tough enough to pass the test to become the elite. Mr Groggins did a wonderful job to bring himself up from poverty and hardship to the top. But he enjoyed pushing his body beyond its limits such as finishing the 100 mile marathon with 2 broken legs. This was his achievement not anything that was going to benefit his fellow man. I couldn’t finish the book.

Interesting story
Revisado: 11-06-23
The first thing that bothered me was the narrator gave no difference between characters voices so it was hard to figure out who was talking. I don’t like 3rd person narrative. The characters needed more development as you really didn’t understand why they did the things they did.

Great Change in Story Line
Revisado: 10-26-23
I just finished Sam Hell and The World Played Chess to listen to this book. What a change the author is able to make from book to book. I also read some legal books. This author has become my favorite and I am afraid I am going to run out of his books to read soon. No no no

Good story
Revisado: 10-15-23
I really like this author. I have listened to several of his books now and have not been disappointed. The only problem with this book was the narrator nEveR changedHis his voice from one character to another. This made it difficult to realize someone else was talking. Maybe that was intentional but I found it confusing. Overall good book.

A mystery?
Revisado: 10-12-23
I had hi hopes for this book. I have not found any good books lately and wonder if I am getting too picky so went into this book with an open mind., I was listening intently as some reviews said the characters were hard to keep track of, I didn’t find this to be a problem. I kept waiting for the twists and turns that would astound me but didn’t find any. Actually I thought it was very straight forward. I sure didn’t find any mystery. I was hoping for a real who done it but it was all spelled out for the reader. Very disappointed.

Historia
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune writes, "Next to Tracy and Hepburn, no one does romantic comedy better than Susan Elizabeth Phillips." For proof, you need to look no further than Nobody's Baby But Mine. This classic comic love story from perennial New York Times best seller Phillips unites a beautiful, brainy scientist desperate to be a mom with a brawny, smoking hot jock who, though handsome enough to father her child, is nowhere near as stupid as she wants her baby’s daddy to be.

Second review of narrator
Revisado: 08-24-23
This book would not been as wonderful had it not been for Anna Fields. She alone was able to make all the characters come alive separately with her voice. She is able to take you into this family separately by changing her voice. This is rare in todays books. I spend more time trying to figure out who people are in more modern books where Ms Fields does it so easily. Congratulations Anna Fields
