Great isekai LitRPG story

This story kind of reads like a TRPG adventure. It's long, involved, and full of epic and not-so-eoic battles. There are hints of a romantic subplot, but nothing materialized in this volume. The volume is pretty long, but keeps you involved enough that you don't mind.

If I had a complaint, it would be a very minor one. Although Hannah Schooner does an otherwise excellent narration, with headphones you can clearly hear her struggling sometimes with a dry mouth or throat. It's not nearly bad enough to lower the performance rating, just a nitpick I noticed.

Overall, I highly recommend this audiobook if you enjoy LitRPG stories. It's length, quality world building, and interesting plot will keep you entertained for hours. Also, even though this is the first of a series, it's so well concluded it stands alone very well.

The continuing journey keeps getting better

This is one of my favorite haremlit series. For some reason the world is fascinating, and getting to explore it with Greg keeps me waiting for every volume release. If you have any love for harem, cultivation, or fantasy novels, you should find something to love about this series. Andi does an outstanding job with the narration (as always), and her work brings all the characters to beautiful life.

There are spicy scenes, but they are not integral to the story and can be skipped if that makes you uncomfortable. Highly recommend the story.

A wonderful harem adventure

As shown, this is the 5th book, and is NOT a standalone story. So keep that in mind. Otherwise this is an excellent harem adventure that I really recommend you read or listen to.

Great mecha series continues.

An interesting universe of mechs, fantasy peoples, and harems. I love the world, and always look forward to the next volume. If you like any of Daniel Schinhofen's novels, you'll have no trouble with this series. No magic, but still has elves, vampires, dryads, etc. Adult scenes and harem situations, so if that bothers you, pass on this story.

A great duology

I love the fact that these two books are a complete story. While I love long book series, sometimes you want an actual end. Brandon Varnell does an excellent job building this world, creating awesome and heinous characters, and telling a compelling story without compressing the story too much. It's just long enough to have heft, without going so long you get bored.

I think most people who enjoy high fantasy, isekai, and romance will like this book. There's no explicit scenes, but there is adult language and situations, so I'd recommend 14+ here.

A great start to a new series.

I really like Mud, Blood, and Magic. There's a grittiness and realism in battle that a lot of haremlit stories don't have. It's refreshing and makes for a much more interesting narrative. I'm eagerly looking forward to book 2.

The next great chapter Aether's Revival series

Andie does another awesome job of narrating what has become one of my favorite series. Action, long story arcs, great character development, and a fascinating world add up to one great story. I've both read and listened to the entire series more than once, and this latest volume continues to amuse and entertain.

If you like cultivation novels, you may enjoy this series. There are adult scenes, and some won't affect the story if you don't read them, but some scenes are integral, so be aware if you prefer skipping adult scenes.

A great start to a new series

This is actually my first novel for these authors. Usually I read the book, then listen to the audio. But I'm not disappointed. This was an excellent story, great world building, and likeable characters. Well worth the price of admission. Narration was top notch, and overall this was a superior audiobook experience.

This is an awesome anime parody series

I've read this series, but I think I enjoyed this audiobook even more than the novel. if you're a fan of 4th wall breaks, over-the-top harem shenanigans, action, and lots of anime tropes, you'll love this series.

There isn't anything more than PG13 in this 1st book, but there are plenty of sexy things in later volumes.

Another awesome series by Jan Stryvant. Highly recommend if you like Haremlit. I'm looking forward to Book3 and beyond.
