In his most provocative and practical book yet, one of the foremost thinkers of our time redefines what it means to understand the world, succeed in a profession, contribute to a fair and just society, detect nonsense, and influence others. Citing examples ranging from Hammurabi to Seneca, Antaeus the Giant to Donald Trump, Nassim Nicholas Taleb shows how the willingness to accept one's own risks is an essential attribute of heroes, saints, and flourishing people in all walks of life.

full of BS
Revisado: 03-29-18
this is an entire book of Taleb addressing personal vendettas and boy does he have an axe to grind. he really does not back up his assertions instead invoking the idea that his ideas are more valuable than academocs because he has "Skin in the game", but do jot take his word for when you can Google his net worth. this is a really disappointing diatribe and I am surprised there are any positive reviews. just a stinker this one....
