Historia
The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

Historia
Jack Reilly's luck ran out just before the war did. Resigning his commission in the Alliance shortly after the end of the war with the Serkins, he went out into the galaxy looking for a job. Signing onto the Glacier Runner 17, an old and rundown cargo ship, Reilly finds himself working for a clueless captain, mixed up in an intergalactic conspiracy, on the run from assassins, and involved with two women in relationships that he could only call "complicated". And that's just book one. Follow Lt. Jack Reilly and his partner, Major Mitchel, through their adventures.

Great Story With Logic, Language and Continuity errors
Revisado: 08-23-23
Great story from a first person perspective in a fun and expansive universe.
However, a 17 year career LT in the Navy would NEVER refer to “Decks” on ships or stations as “floors”, “compartments” as “rooms”, nor “bulkheads” as “walls”. Nor would a seasoned combat or security officer refer to “magazines” as “clips” in rifles and pistols. Words matter. Similar glaring mistakes are made throughout the series.
Book one refers to 10 credits paid as one nights lodging as “three weeks salary” but then immediately 16 credits for a vending machine meal with two beers and later 36 credits for takeout in book five. Details matter.

Worst narrator ever.
Revisado: 08-20-21
This narrator is nasally and is very hard to listen to. She jumbles words together and has an uneven cadence in her delivery. Talks like she has a mouth full of marbles.
