Narrator ruined the story
Revisado: 08-31-22
The narrator may have been reading the ingredients off a cereal box. Many times couldn’t tell which character she was reading.,often read in a flat voice.

Devil in a Blue Dress

Would you try another book from Walter Mosley and/or Michael Boatman?
I have read all Walter Mosely's books. I love his ability to bring his characters, their lives and especially Their LA neighborhoods alive. While telling a human story, Mosley is educating his readers about the real story....racism in America.
My problem was that the narrator couldn't do the same. For me, the power and charm of Mosley's book is lost... And that is really too bad.
