I know a lot of people just wanted to hear about Stevie, but you can’t have her without the rest. I love Stevie and Fleetwood Mac and I read every book I can about them. I’m only sorry this wasn’t longer.

I enjoyed this book so much. I'm really happy I found this series. I had a big cheesy grin on my face the whole time I was listening. Got many strange looks in my car! The story is really cool and the narrator is out of this world. Can't wait to start the next book.

Historia
Bernadette Fox is notorious. To her Microsoft-guru husband, she's a fearlessly opinionated partner; to fellow private-school mothers in Seattle, she's a disgrace; to design mavens, she's a revolutionary architect, and to 15-year-old Bee, she is a best friend and, simply, Mom.
Then Bernadette disappears. It began when Bee aced her report card and claimed her promised reward: a family trip to Antarctica. But Bernadette's intensifying allergy to Seattle - and people in general - has made her so agoraphobic that a virtual assistant in India now runs her most basic errands.

A must listen!
Revisado: 05-02-15
I had several starts on this book. I had it in my library forever. I'd start and stop. Listen to another book then go back. It just didn't seem to go anywhere. The first half seemed really disconnected. I had trouble keeping my mind from wandering. But then.....all of the sudden I could not stop listening. I was so immersed in this book I forgot everything else. Everything came together. It was a wild ride and I didn't want to get off! If you find yourself getting bored or whatever just hang in there! Bernadette is a fantastically complex character. Amazing book!

Hard on the ears!
Revisado: 11-06-14
The story was not bad. It was a little drawn out but, overall a decent story. But, my ears were practically bleeding from this narrator. The strange pronunciations nearly made me turn it off. I understand that different regions have different accents, but when you are reading southern you need to be SOUTHERN. I have 3 more of Stephanie Bond's book narrated by the woman. I'm almost afraid to listen to them for fear the words garage and herb are in them.

I wanted to love it.....
Revisado: 06-21-14
I have been following this series since it started. I really wanted to love this book like I loved the others. But I have to just call it ok. Charley is one of the best storylines ever written. But there are so many sub plots that it left me a little unsure what the story really was. And the Cookie/Uncle Bob thing was just annoying. There are so many unrelated sentences that pop up out of nowhere. It had me wondering if it was just to increase the word count of a weak story. The snark factor that used to be fun was just too over the top on this one. Promising ending though. The narration was outstanding as usual.

It's a lousy first day on the job for Nina Blackman. A patient, loopy from the anesthesia, bites her. At least he was cute. The next morning, Nina wakes up with a set of razor-sharp fangs, bionic vision, supersonic hearing, and a taste for blood. But there's a good explanation: It's her patient, Long Island vampire Greg Statleon. Is Nina willing to commit to one man for eternity, even if they are perfect for each other?

A paranormal party on my iPod!
Revisado: 06-08-14
This is one of my favorite series. I already have the print books and I'm going to have all of the Audible versions as well. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Dakota's books. The narrator is doing an awesome job finding the voices for the characters.
The story lines are original and hysterical. Pure entertainment! Just what you need to escape from reality.
The only warning I will give is that there is language in the book that some people may be offended by. I would hate to see bad reviews because someone didn't like it. So, consider yourself forewarned and enjoy!!!

All wrapped up in a neat little bow...
Revisado: 10-17-13
I have always enjoyed this series and this was better than the last two. But it is becoming a little annoying to have everything always perfect. The kids are perfect. The women are perfect. Stone is perfect. Even real rich people aren't this perfect. I'd love to see the old Stone again.....the non rich one on the edge of the society page. Accepted by the beautiful people without actually being one of them. Tony Roberts was excellent as usual. Good to see Teddy back. I always liked that character. But this time even Teddy was perfect!

Historia
Repo man Nick Reid had a seemingly simple job to do: talk to Percy Dwayne Dubois about the payments he's behind on for a flat-screen TV, or repossess it. But Percy Dwayne wouldn't give in. Nope, instead he saw fit to go all white-trash philosophical and decided that since the world was stacked against him anyway, he might as well fight it. He hit Nick over the head with a fireplace shovel, tied him up and stole the mint-condition calypso coral-colored 1969 Ranchero that Nick had borrowed from his landlady. Road trip!

Whiny, preachy, dissappointing
Revisado: 06-30-11
I thought I was getting a nice cozy mystery. Imagine someone breaking into houses and redecorating them. Sounds like a hoot.
What I got was a whiny, boring piece of Christian fiction that takes a long time to end. The main character is a Christian writer who can't seem to get on the bestseller list and whines about it all through the book. She also has her mother inlaw and daughter, both widows, like herself living with her. This has so many possibilities but sadly went nowhere. Plus, more whining. The mystery wasn't even mentioned till the third chapter or so. And not a lot after that. I didn't really want to finish the book, but I did want to find out who was behind the break ins. Sadly, even the ending was pretty senseless.
This book is about this woman and her problems and how everything happens for a reason and how God has a plan...and that's it. If you are looking for a good mystery then skip this.
