Penn has always been entertaining. Even on the radio with Alex Bennett hilarious. Not so much this story. It has a good premise and enough of crazy. No body except maybe the kiddies would be entertained by the stupid sex talk. Maybe he's frustrated having to be Mr Clean in his shows. If he finally gets on with the story about half way through trying to prove Las Vegas is crazy the concept of random is a good premise and could have been a lot of fun. He needed the guy from two and a half men to read the story and it would have been a great series. Oh well nice start. Loved his bringing his Vegas buddies into the story. He needed a bottle of Mazola in the group grope scene.

Why are the hero's wussses now a days?

This guy certainly doesn't know the realities of war or what real hero's are. Seems like all these wussses are writing books now a days. We were good and back stabbed by the enemies within in VietNam. but the story is boring as well as inaccurate and Veteran's are not victim's. Don't bother.

Story about a stupid person

Totally ripped off. Thought it was s spy story about the resistance instead it was a story about a stupid person. Loved the idea of the Ritz as the central but wanted to hear about people who really fought the German's. This story made the German's the heros. Typical of their ilk is what I always say about these characters. YAWN.

Where does The Hunting Trip rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Entertaining story by W.E.B. Top notch (expletive deleted) story telling!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
There was everything you want twists on twists with omages to another famous author who has passed. I suspect there was a bit of (expletive deleted) writing including some of his own experiences.
Which character – as performed by Will Damron – was your favorite?
Phil of course is a happy man! I laughed as he reminds me of me. Capitalizing on the breaks that life sometimes offers. All the character's are so much fun! A happy man!! like me. Still smiling.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I didn't want it to end like all of his stories.
