Historia
Celebrating her forty-fifth birthday at her local pub, popular podcaster Alix Summer crosses paths with an unassuming woman called Josie Fair. Josie, it turns out, is also celebrating her forty-fifth birthday. They are, in fact, birthday twins. A few days later, Alix and Josie bump into each other again, this time outside Alix’s children’s school. Josie has been listening to Alix’s podcasts and thinks she might be an interesting subject for her series. She is, she tells Alix, on the cusp of great changes in her life.

Welp. Can’t get that ten hours of my life back.
Revisado: 05-23-24
This was such a great book all the way through and then the ending was so unsatisfying. I’m sitting here wishing I hadn’t spent my money or my time. Who ends a book like that?! if you need closure and resolution don’t listen to this one. It’s my first Lisa Jewell book and if people who love her could advise me, are they all like this? I really like her style a lot but holy crap. Reward us for listening for 10 hours. 😂🤦🏻♀️

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Holy CRAP I LOVE THIS BOOK.
Revisado: 09-19-15
I was riveted from the second I started this! The narrator is FANTASTIC and the dry humor is hilarious with his inflections. Fantastic, exciting story and the dialogue is just FUNNY. I want Mark Whatney to be my best friend. Or President. Yeah, let's go with President.

Historia
Are you one of the millions who crave a new direction in the church, fed up with religious games, empty promises, and cultural Christianity? You are not alone. You are not crazy. Maybe Jesus is ready to interrupt your life. Snatching Jen Hatmaker from the grip of her consumer life, God began asking her questions like, "What is really the point of My Church? What have I really asked of you?" Transparent and imperfect, Jen will engage and inspire you to go beyond comfortable and answer for yourself the question she faced.

I adore this author!!!! Amazing book.
Revisado: 04-26-15
Jen Hatmaker walks the walk when it comes to "What would Jesus do? Such a refreshing take on being Christian for people who feel stagnant in their faith...and more importantly for people who feel comfortable in their faith. Thank you for this amazing book, Jen! I laughed as often as I said "Yes! A
men!" And I will never consume banana halves in quite the same reckless way!
