Klavan is a genius writer....
Revisado: 11-16-21
This story was so beautifully written and engaging from beginning to end, and I love the protagonist Winter. This story drew me on from the beginning and hooked me to finish it faster then any audiobook I have listened to in recent years. Just a wonderful bittersweet mystery that is a feat of storytelling.... I absolutely loved it and want to hear more from the saga of Cam Winter. Also,, Adam Barr as a narrator was absolutely brilliant. Long live the Klavan! More please!

Historia
Thirty-two-year-old Jess Abbot has lost everything: her job, her apartment, and - most heart-wrenching - her eight-year-old son, Chance, to a tragic accident. Haunted by memories and grief, Jess packs what’s left and heads for the small mountain town of Pine Lake, where she takes a position as caregiver to an eccentric old woman. A rumored clairvoyant, Lucy is strange but welcoming and immediately intuits Jess as a “loose end” in need of closure. But Jess isn’t the only guest in Lucy’s large Victorian home.

SUPERB! Profound & Elegant Business Mindset Book
Revisado: 04-01-16
Where does The Instant Millionaire rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of the best ever.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the way the story is told, illustrating the points he makes while you follow his story.
Have you listened to any of Marc Allen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Have not but should...
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The book points out the mindset of 'can do' in ways you already know but generally don't think of. The simplicity and brilliance of it is that this is a story, or as the author describes, a 'fable' based on real life practices. It totally works and it is very engrossing.
Any additional comments?
I listen to this audio book at least once a year. It is one of my all-time favorites and a must-have in your library if you listen to business or self-help books of any kind, especially in relation to running your small business.
