Enjoyed book and movie

Wonder if I would have enjoyed the book more if read before I saw the movie. Still find both very interesting worth the read/listen. Left with the feeling the book ending should’ve been more dramatic, yet it feels more realistic, true to life. Makes you wonder who was more injured by the relationships….. The Butterfields or David and his family???

Interesting and Entertaining Story

Enjoyed this sequel more than Magnificent vibration. This story and characters are interesting and engaging.
Rick Springfield gives a excellent performance reading the book. The humor throughout the story is a welcome distraction to some heavy subject manner. Toward the end of the book, the multiple references to body parts became a bit monotonous and pulled my attention out of the story. Anxiously await part three. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a fun, unique read.

Extremely uplifting

I recall being so touch by the book Lauren’s husband wrote shortly after September 11th. Given so much loss, we needed hope. I have wondered often how she and her family were doing. I remain amazed by her strength and determination. Love hearing her story in her words. As an adult with physical disability from birth I am taken a back by her reaction to being seen as having a disability. I think it shows how much work the US still has to do when it comes to viewing and supporting those with disabilities. Overall a must read / listen for all.
