Historia
Growing up in the foster system, Quinn O'Meara made a point of never getting involved. But when she discovers a crying baby amid a fiery crime scene, she knows she has no choice. Suddenly in way over her head, Quinn turns to the police, unintentionally positioning herself in the crosshairs of a deadly human-trafficking ring. The last time homicide detective Nick Saldano saw Quinn, she was still the young girl he'd shared a foster home with.

Kept my attention the whole time
Revisado: 04-21-25
The story was consistent and linear, and you could follow where the story was going and it had some good turns to it

Historia
Jessica Fletcher has had plenty to worry about over her storied career, both as a best-selling novelist and as a part-time sleuth. But she's never had any reason to doubt her longtime publisher and trusted friend, Lane Barfield. When mounting evidence of financial malfeasance leads to an FBI investigation of Lane, Jessica can't believe what she's reading. So when it appears that Barfield has committed suicide, Jessica takes on the task of clearing his name. Sure enough, Jessica turns up several inconsistencies in the case against Barfield, as well as signs he might have been murdered.

Historia
Blue Echohawk doesn't know who she is. She doesn't know her real name or when she was born. Abandoned at two and raised by a drifter, she didn't attend school until she was ten years old. At nineteen, when most kids her age are attending college or moving on with life, she is just a senior in high school. With no mother, no father, no faith, and no future, Blue Echohawk is a difficult student, to say the least.

A story of chain reactions
Revisado: 07-16-18
A perfect tale of how everyone’s decision changes lives forever. Proof we are all connected. I loved the Native American metaphors. The story moved along quickly. I loved that it didn’t linger on gratuitous sex. To many books do. It was easy to follow and made sense from past and present. While other book are hard to follow in the past/present theme. I am looking for a sequel. Also I really ever do a review.

Historia
Selena Taylor is an American citizen determined to find her grandparents after she loses her family to the violence of the drug cartel in Mexico. NOT MUCH CAN BE DONE WITH MAIN MALE CHARACTER
Revisado: 12-22-13
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
NOTHING
Any additional comments?
I HAVE NEVER WROTE A COMMENT BEFORE. HOWEVER, THIS BOOK WAS JUST AWFUL!!! THE WHOLE BOOK WAS CHILDLIKE AND SIMPLE. PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE MALE WITH AN ACCOMMODATING CONFUSED SCARED VIRGIN. NOTHING SENSUAL, SEXY OR INTELLIGENT ABOUT THEIR REPARTEE.
