Hard to listen to
Revisado: 03-10-19
Reading a paperback would have been easier. Listening to it was confusing. A lot of the characters has similar sounding names. I finished the book still confused with no desire to read the next one. Three stars overall based purely on the good performance.

Too much drama
Revisado: 02-27-19
The story is good but doesn’t merit the level of drama the narrator puts in the story.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Fascinating but I want more
Revisado: 04-29-18
I loved this book. My only complaint, I wish he’d explained more about how he got out. He talks about the cycle and breaking free. Then almost getting stuck in the cycle. Next mention, he’s a comedian in England. I would love to hear how that happened.
