This is lot of religious stuff

Always entertaining, self help motivation.
Revisado: 10-07-20
Bob is always very entertaining and I love listening to his books. I'm not sure that everything he says in here is a biblical approach and I did see that he's made a Bible study out of this. I think you're better off just studying the Bible. There's a lot of wisdom in this book but I wouldn't take it all as total truth. It's a Christian book, but the gospel is never actually presented.

A honest look at doing friendship biblically
Revisado: 07-05-17
There's a lot in the Christian media that tells us we should find perfect community at church & have that group of people who look just like you, are safe, don't really challenge you, but are overall supportive & fun to be around. You will not find this here. Christine really hits the friendships that get in to the rough things, encourage is to live biblically & calls us to befriend those we may not initially see. This is an excellent book

Historia
That’s the real life story of country music star Jimmy Wayne. It’s a miracle that Jimmy survived being hungry and homeless, bouncing in and out of the foster care system, and sleeping in the streets. But he didn’t just overcome great adversity in his life; he now uses his country music platform to help children everywhere, especially teenagers in foster care who are about to age out of the system. Walk to Beautiful is the powerfully emotive account of Jimmy’s horrendous childhood and the love shown him by Russell and Bea Costner, the elderly couple who gave him a stable home and provided the chance to complete his education. Jimmy says of Bea, “She changed every cell in my body.”

fabulous story of hope
Revisado: 01-08-17
please read this book. The story exposes the darkness of children in danger and the need for loving adults to stand in the lives of broken kids. Jimmy Wayne brings hope to the overwhelming stories we often hear of kids in foster care. Warning, this book requires a response...your heart will yearn to do something.
