I was pleasantly surprise by Harry's insights. he was honest, frank, with more depth than I anticipated. He's got his head on straight and showed his growth in maturity. I highly recommend reading this book. it is a fun blend of english humor and serious searching.

This was an intriguing and honest telling of the complications life can bring into one's life. And how having the humility and fortitude to turns things around may seem to be a gargantuan task, but a woman does have the inner resilience needed. Above all we must be true to ourselves and keep our dreams alive. The blessing of a true friendship is a gift beyond comprehension.
I couldn't stop listening. Beautifully writen and performed! Thank you.

Painfully Beautiful

The title intrigued me and continued to do so until the last chapter. The writing was intimate and real, like a diary. I couldn't put it down. Ms. Murdock's relating of events and their often painful, lifelong con- sequences struck chords in me and pro- ably anyone growing up in similar circumstances. Yet, the dignity, strength and forgiveness of the human spirit shone through. I thought the narrator's performance was superb...sustaining the accent throughout while modifying it for each character. Very talented performer.
Was overall a very enjoyable read/journey!

loved the narrator, her accent and vocalizations were quite natural and believable. I hated to stop everytime I
resumed. Highly recommended reading for anyone who knows we are all just bungling
humans doing the best we can in any given moment. Thank you for this lovely book and reading. So grateful to have this membership!!

An excellent and through understanding of the impact of grief on the life and living of the bereaved. Especially the final chapter when the author shared his own journey over the loss of his son. A respectful, honest and humble manuscript.
