Historia
What does everyone in the modern world need to know? Renowned psychologist Jordan B. Peterson's answer to this most difficult of questions uniquely combines the hard-won truths of ancient tradition with the stunning revelations of cutting-edge scientific research. Humorous, surprising, and informative, Dr. Peterson tells us why skateboarding boys and girls must be left alone, what terrible fate awaits those who criticize too easily, and why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.

I wish I could go back in time 40 years and give 20 year old me this book, it would have saved me a lot of anger and sorrow and doubt! But sadly as with any 20 year old I probably wouldn't have read it.

Historia
In White Trash, Nancy Isenberg upends assumptions about America's supposedly class-free society. Poor whites were central to the rise of the Republican Party in the early 19th century, and the Civil War itself was fought over class issues nearly as much as it was fought over slavery. Reconstruction pitted poor white trash against newly freed slaves, which factored in the rise of eugenics. These poor were at the heart of New Deal reforms and LBJ's Great Society; they haunt us in reality TV shows like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Duck Dynasty.

There but for the grace of God go I!

That's something my grandmother would say when I made fun of the hillbilly family that lived down the street. This book rings true to me in so many ways. I grew up in a working class neighborhood in Chicago in the 60s and 70s, most were working poor a few owned their homes but most rented. My family migrated here in the late 19th century, on my mother's side from Prussia and Italy to Chicago and Milwaukee, Germany Ireland and Scotland on my father's side to rual Ohio. They often spoke about how it was coming here poor and how they were treated, they also spoke about how hard it was during the great depression especially for my father's side. By the time I was born the neighborhood was on a downward spiral, the neighborhood was primarily Hispanic by that time and the black and white families were in the minority. Now I couldn't afford to breathe the air let alone rent or buy. I guess I should be bitter but I'm not, because no matter how much the people complained about the drugs and gangs the city did nothing well that was until all the people with six and seven digit incomes thought it was now chic to live in the city. But no matter how bad you had it you weren't as bad off as those hillbillies down the street and just like the author mentioned they had a yellow tint to their skin. Every Friday was like an episode of cops only decades before it ever aired. I got out of that neighborhood the only way I could I enlisted in the military on my 17th birthday. It not only gave me a way out but it gave me a chance at getting an education. Prior to that I didn't think I'd see my 20th birthday. I've been living in rual southern New England since leaving and it's really no different then anywhere else I've lived, 20 years and the swamp Yankees still look at us as outsiders and the young upwardly mobile types who are moving in because the property is still a little lower look down at us like we're white trash, one of them got in an argument with my wife over our cat crapping in their yard and called my wife white trash which is kind of funny seeing she has two bachelors and is working on her master's and is a teacher in the local high school. I don't care where you go there is always a class structure. Where you live where you work everywhere and if you don't believe it just go to a Walmart anywhere in this country and you will immediately feel better about yourself.

What is "the big lie" of the Democratic Party? That conservatives - and President Donald Trump in particular - are fascists. Nazis, even. In a typical comment, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow says the Trump era is reminiscent of "what it was like when Hitler first became chancellor." But in fact, this audacious lie is a complete inversion of the truth. Yes, there is a fascist threat in America - but that threat is from the Left and the Democratic Party.

Historia
Who is killing America? Is it really Donald Trump and a GOP filled with white supremacists? In this audiobook, Dinesh D’Souza makes the provocative case that Democrats are the ones killing America by turning it into a massive nanny state modeled on the Southern plantation system. Death of a Nation's bracing alternative vision of American history explains the Democratic Party's dark past, reinterprets the roles of figures like Van Buren, FDR, and LBJ, and exposes the hidden truth that racism comes not from Trump or the conservative right but rather from Democrats.

The very sad truth of our Nation! 💔
Revisado: 04-11-19
As with all his books this is a very accurate account of all the dirty little secrets that have all but been written out of our history. one can only imagine how great our Nation would be if our supposed ruling class put as much effort into doing what is right for We The People as they do their own interests!

"Fascists", "Brownshirts", "jackbooted stormtroopers" - such are the insults typically hurled at conservatives by their liberal opponents. Calling someone a fascist is the fastest way to shut them up, defining their views as beyond the political pale. But who are the real fascists in our midst?

A must read!

The author puts many things into perspective the I've that I've wondered about for a very long time and sadly confirmed many of the conclusions I myself came to many years ago. Seeing this was published in 2008 I would like to hear even though I'm sure I already know what he'd say about the Obama and Trump administration.

Historia
Since earliest times, human beings have pondered the incomprehensible questions of the universe, life...and the afterlife. Where did mortal man go to join the immortal Gods? Was the immense and complex structure at Giza an Egyptian Pharaoh's portal to immortality? Or a pulsating beacon built by extraterrestrials for landing on Earth? In this second volume of his trailblazing series The Earth Chronicles, Zecharia Sitchin unveils secrets of the pyramids and hidden clues from ancient times to reveal a grand forgery on which established Egyptology is founded.

A good book but......
Revisado: 12-17-18
As others have already mentioned there is quite a bit of repeat from the 12th planet which wasn't that much of a problem, what I had a problem with is that the accompanied PDF which they tell you about in the introduction which holds over 150 pictures and they refer to several times in each chapter had a download code didn't work. Disappointing.
