Historia
You know, being friends with two cute boys does have its benefits. There's Danny. Danny is a golden boy in every way. He has dreamy blue eyes and blonde hair that always looks perfect, even when it's windblown or been stuck under a football helmet. He's the boy every girl crushes on. The boy I get into trouble with, the boy I fight with, the hot quarterback no girl can resist, not even me. Being with Danny is like being on an adventure. He has a bright, contagious smile and abs to die for. He's pretty much irresistible.

The performance
Revisado: 05-26-20
To be honest, I'm a guy and I wanted to know what women read these days. Also wanted some insight on how women think. The story is told from JJ's perspective and we get to read her mind a little. Now I don't know if I got what I came for. But I sure did enjoy Lisa Cordileone's performance! She really brought the character to life. I fell in love with all of the characters. Also I actually wanted more from the story that's why I only rated it a 4.. guess i'd have to get the rest of the series. Now I know what all the fuss is about.

Historia
Unstoppable is the fiercely honest, fearless, darkly funny autobiography of global tennis star Maria Sharapova. In the middle of the night, a father and his daughter step off a Greyhound bus in Florida and head straight to the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. They ring the bell, though no-one is expecting them and they don't speak English. They have arrived from Russia with just 700 dollars and the conviction that this six-year-old girl will be the world's next great tennis star. They are right.

Exceptional!
Revisado: 08-19-18
This book reveals everything you ever wanted to know about one of the most beautiful, intelligent, diligent and richest women in the world. The story of her father and herself is astonishing. This book is really well read. It is such a pleasure to listen to her voice while working. I read the book and listened to the audio book and then bought the book for my niece. There are very real life lessons in this book that you can apply to your own life. Her philosophy is made very clear. What I have taken from this is that pure will and determination can take you very far. Maria Sharapova is a true role model.

Historia
From the author of the groundbreaking New York Times bestseller The Female Brain, here is the eagerly awaited follow-up book that demystifies the puzzling male brain.
Dr. Louann Brizendine, the founder of the first clinic in the country to study gender differences in brain, behavior, and hormones, turns her attention to the male brain, showing how, through every phase of life, the "male reality" is fundamentally different from the female one. Exploring the latest breakthroughs in male psychology and neurology with her trademark accessibility and candor, she reveals that the male brain:
*is a lean, mean, problem-solving machine. Faced with a personal problem, a man will use his analytical brain structures, not his emotional ones, to find a solution.
*thrives under competition, instinctively plays rough and is obsessed with rank and hierarchy.
*has an area for sexual pursuit that is 2.5 times larger than the female brain, consuming him with sexual fantasies about female body parts.
*experiences such a massive increase in testosterone at puberty that he perceive others' faces to be more aggressive.
The Male Brain finally overturns the stereotypes. Impeccably researched and at the cutting edge of scientific knowledge, this is a book that every man, and especially every woman bedeviled by a man, will need to own.
Praise for The Female Brain:
"Louann Brizendine has done a great favor for every man who wants to understand the puzzling women in his life. A breezy and enlightening guide to women and a must-read for men."
—Daniel Goleman, author of Emotional Intelligence

Awareness of the Male Brain
Revisado: 01-27-18
Would you listen to The Male Brain again? Why?
Yes, the information is so accurate. to overview information.
Would you recommend The Male Brain to your friends? Why or why not?
I would recommend future girlfriends and future wife, my mother and sisters to listen to this. Because It is so accurate. Not nearly deep enough but it will give women a greater understanding. This book is a must read/listen for any woman and man. It gave me clarity and answered a lot of open ended questions and also gave me a greater understanding of myself.
Have you listened to any of Kimberly Farr’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No unfortunately I have not but this was very well read.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The part that stood out the most is about how men are also complex and that we are unique and we have many facets and can't just be fit into some broad stroke box created by women and the media.
Any additional comments?
I was surprised and skeptical at first but Louann Brizendine really knows the brain and she wrote this with confidence. I loved the book but I wish it had a tad more depth. I feel it is important for women to understand our depth of emotion is sometimes the same and in other cases even deeper.I know it is mentioned but this is very important. We suppress it.
