I love this world!

I just love this series. The world building is fantastic. The characters are wonderful. The story is written so well that you are just absorbed in. This was one series I read as a book first then had to have the audio knowing I would need to revisit it often. If you like dance movies and romance this is for you. Not to mention the soundtrack the author provides is wonderful.

Has potential

So this story was a really slow one to get into. It has potential. There are a lot of areas which could have been skipped while there are others where more elaboration would have been helpful.
As for the narration this was a hard one to listen to. The range just wasn’t there to cover all the parts and every time a new chapter would start I would jump with this upbeat, loud cheery voice saying “chapter 1” and so on. It reminded me of a voice on a kids program or game.
Not sure if this would have been better to read the old fashion way (with a book) or not. I guess I would say the story was decent but the audio version was hard.

For anyone that likes futuristic, dystopian stories this is for you. I really enjoyed it. The narrator was fantastic to listen to as well. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

A nice quick read.

Just finished this book up and enjoyed the story. It kind of went in a few different directions and didn’t know where it was going to end up. It ended with quite a cliffhanger.
As for the narrator there is potential. I can’t imagine it being easy to have the range to handle a young fae girl to a regal king being easy. The feminine rolls were fine but when it came to male voices it did fall quite monotone. The story is still worth a listen. Don’t let the narration discourage you.
