Wow! What a pleasant surprise

Camera I was not anticipating to like this book so much. It is well written in such a unique concept. Most of the book, I truly did not know what was going on or what was going to happen or what signified what. It is incredibly engaging and keeps you on your toes. I would highly recommend this book.

Narrators the good and the bad!

Overall a good book; I believe the author is setting us up for a GREAT Series as the last 5 hours of this book were very good. I’m really looking forward to the next books. The male narrator was FANTASTIC, per usual, the female: awful. She was sooo breathy and dramatic. So much she tainted the book a bit. I’m sure she is great for other roles but please recast for rest of series.

Worst narrator in the history of all audio books

I normally can breeze through a book on audio. But this series…it’s taken me about a month to get to book 3 and I will not be moving forward with the series as the main narrator is ABSOLUTELY CRINGE WORTHY. It was a terrible choice. I have never disliked an audio book more than this series. The story may have been ok without the narrator. I’m sure she is a lovely person and I’m sorry to be rude to her, but please learn from this on how to chill out the whiny drama

Such a great book. I don’t think I can wait another year to see what happens next!!!! Highly recommend reading/rereading previous books to have a full understanding of everything!

What a silly and sweet quick listen!

Fun historical fiction

While I knew some of the history much of it, even dramatized, was a surprise! Really enjoyed the historic portion of this novel!

I feel like a worse person

These are despicable people and the main character is awful. Writers style and ability is good but content is awful smut.

Last 10 minutes were the only redeemable part of the book.

Secretly obsessed

I am proud that the author did attempt to have a few original ideas in this one!! (Tried anyways, still definitely stealing from other fantasy novels) anyways, you can’t help but fall in love with the characters you get to know and root for the kids in victory and love! This one was a little woke but I still very much enjoyed. Onto the next!

Get through the first book for this one!

The writing and originality are far beyond wanting. Definitely no genesis but I cannot help but love this new version of Stephan and Damon, and every other single fantasy book out there this rips from. But it’s still addicting and wonderful!

What a delight

The first twenty minutes or so of this was absolutely cringe worthy (as I’m sure the author meant it to be). But once the story began it also took me back to terrible fashion and realty of the 2000’s; which was fun! The story is charming, even if fluffy and predictable it still made me happy. I’d recommend.
