I am updating my original review …. I apologize to Don Bentley and the narrator for originally writing I was disappointed.
I decided to pick up the book again and listen to it like it was the first time. I put aside my expectations and wow! What a difference! (The 1st time I was looking for the continuation of Rapp’s life from the timeline of the last Kyle Mills story). My mistake.
Don Bentley captured the essence of Mitch Rapp and the narrator did a very impressive job with all the voices and characters! The story is excellent and held my attention the entire time.
I am now looking forward to Don Bentley’s next Mitch Rapp novel!

Love it all of it including the cliff hanger!!

The book grabbed my attention from the first word, till the very last. I generally do not like cliffhangers, but this was totally unexpected, and a fantastic way to end the book!!! I can’t wait for the next book. I see that other reviews are shaming the authors, but there really is no reason for it, the authors are so well-known and renowned they don’t need cliffhangers to entice us to read their next book.
I think this book ended exactly how it should.
