Arthur Ransome (1884-1967) wrote Old Peter's Russian Tales while he was in Russia during the First World War, prior to becoming a war correspondent for The Manchester Guardian. There are 22 stories in all and are told by Old Peter at the behest of his grandchildren, Ivan and Maroosia, in a cozy log cabin in the middle of the forest. These are delightful re-tellings in Ransome's own words of Russian folk tales, and include stories such as "The Little Snow Girl", "Baba Yaga", "Frost", and "Salt".

I seriously can’t believe you read what you wrote and still thought it was okay to post!! I also love S.D Smith’s books and if anyone hasn’t listen to The Green Ember you have to do it is amazing 🤩 I cried so much listening to that book series 💔 The way he has with words it’s just amazing!! Anyways my message is lgbtqia+ we are strong and we are amazing and we shouldn’t give a fuck about what the France’s of the world have to say ❤️🏳️🌈

My heart goes out to all the people who had to go 💔❤️🩹😭 two years ago we found my aunt dead in her backyard we still don’t know the cause of her death she was 21 she was far too young to die unexpectedly she was found by my uncle and his two kids who were before he had met her but they were heartbroken💔 our whole family suffered greatly but at least we knew she wasn’t murdered❤️🩹 I am not trying to pretend I know what these family’s are going or have gone through I am just trying to say I think I can understand I fraction of their pain so please anyone with information please help these family find closure
