With only a tattered shred of hope remaining, the Bearers of the Wand of Myth must battle their way back to each other to mount a final stand. But Elloren and her allies are not only facing Mage Vogel's advancing forces—the armies of the Eastern Realm will stop at nothing to see the Black Witch struck down.

nice end to an epic battle but heavy on a specific theme
Revisado: 01-29-25
I loved the epic conclusion to the long awaited battle but man.... I was so so over practically every synonym in the English language for coupling.

If you loved flesh and fire you'll enjoy this one
Revisado: 10-29-21
It took me a few chapters to appreciate this one becuase I continuously had the need to keep reading to figure out how this one exactly related to the characters in Flesh and Fire. But along the way I fell in love with the two many characters just how I fell in love with the two heroines in Flesh and Fire.. The relationship much the same. It wasn't book 4 of flesh and fire but a good read to hold me out til March.

Historia
In Minatsol, being a dweller means that you are literally no better than dirt. In fact, dirt might actually be more useful than Willa. Her life will be one of servitude to the sols, the magic-blessed beings who could one day be chosen to become gods. At least her outer village is far removed from the cities of the sols, and she won't ever be forced to present herself to them... Until one small mistake changes everything, and Willa is awarded a position to serve at Blesswood, the top sol academy in the world - a position that she definitely did not earn.

No character growth... In 3 books
Revisado: 10-13-21
I read the first three books and I feel like I should of went with my gut and stopped at the first one. The main character is overly annoying. You hope and pray that as she has changes in other parts of her life that she will get knocked on the head and one learn to stop tripping, two to listen before she talks, or three she learns to watch her back... But after seduction, she still is just annoying.

Good story, would of preferred a cliffhanger endin
Revisado: 09-29-21
I won't spoil the ending, but I do believe the last chapter and a half should of been cut off and placed in the beginning of book three. Because I just don't feel like I'm interested enough now to worry about what happens in book three.

Historia
Lilac's birthright makes her the Queen of Renovia, and a forced marriage made her the Queen of Montrice. But being a ruler does not mean making the rules. Now Cal and Lilac will have to battle dark forces separately, even though being together is the only thing that's ever saved them.

Main character whines the entire book
Revisado: 08-17-21
I stuck through this just to see what happened at the end but this was a hard listen. So much of the same complaint spoken over and over by the main character. And how she was manipulated so niavely.... If you want to finish the story like I did go ahead but know you won't like it.

Main character can be annouying towards the climax
Revisado: 01-15-21
I enjoyed this book. My only complaint was how annoying the main character was in all the whining towards the end of the book. It's like she learns one lesson but then sinks back into self pity and disparity. The next book should be interesting.

Didn't think I would enjoy at first
Revisado: 10-13-20
This was so much like the selection in the first 10 chapters. After that the story started to remind me much of the red queen. Especially in the class system and the different sectors. But I like that it focused less on romance and more on this Zia's experiences during the selection. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Don't listen to bad reviews
Revisado: 08-21-20
This was such a good listen. I was hesitant at first becuase of the comments that this was a disappointment. But I found the last 12 hours of this book addicting. I will admit the first few chapters were written better for someone with a hardcopy as there were tons of details explaining the houses and the world... But if you get past that, you'll enjoy this book
