The entire book is amazing! But Chapter 14 spoke to my soul. This book makes me want to rewatch all her movies and see them through the new perspective of Viola that this book allows for.

Aside from the fact that I love all things "Andi Arndt," this story was truly entertaining.
The best part about this book is that, even though love wins in the end, it was not predictable in its unfolding. I love when a romance author can couple a happy ending with unpredictability.
The only thing I wanted more of was descriptions of the characters. I wasn't able to vividly (and effortlessly) picture the characters in my mind like I was able to in some of her other books.
Overall an excellent read and my romance heart is happy.

Loved it!! This is one of those books I wish I could forget so I could re-read it and enjoy it all over again. As I read it, I was continuously trying to figure out if it was loosely based on some Hollywood figures of long ago. The author did an excellent job of transporting me to old Hollywood and gradually bringing me back to modern times. My heart loves this book!

I truly love second chance romances, and the fact that this was paired with a first love storyline made it even more wonderful. While there were several parts that wrecked my emotions, it was still amazing. The drama made it more believable.
Who can resist Sebastian York and Andi Arndt? Not me! They never disappoint!

I sincerely enjoy love stories. It doesn’t matter that I know they will end with a happily ever after, I still love them!
I am not sure if I was in a bad mood while reading this book, but it was VERY frustrating with the main character. She is such the drama queen. She expects the worst from Quin but always hopes for the best. Then when she gets the best from him she plays games and acts like she doesn’t want Quin and pushes him away with a bunch of malarkey. It is like she wanted the worst just so she could play the “woes is me” card. I enjoyed ALL the other books in the series except this one. With her expectations and actions, she was worse than an indecisive drama-ridden teenager. I found myself wanting to fast forward to the end so I could avoid her character all together.

This is the first book I've read by Alyssa Cole. I am a hopeless romantic and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story line was unique, as were the characters. I wanted a little more detail about the main characters though...I have a vivid imagination and yet I struggled to maintain an image of Prince Thabiso.
I loved that the the author was able to accurately convey NYC life and then transition to another country... wonderful detailed descriptions. While the ending was quite predictable, (most romance novels are) it still made my heart happy. It felt a little rushed though.

I'm looking forward to reading more of her books in this series!

I will admit, when I first started listening to this book I thought perhaps this is a book that is better if it is read on paper. But I was wrong. This book is charming. Adda is sassy, articulate, and whitty. I truly enjoyed getting to know her and watching her faith develop.

The story was sweet but not as exciting as I hoped. I really laughed hard during several parts and I was hoping the comedy would be a bigger part.

Perhaps the author will write another book to include Jeremy's love interest and maybe a relationship with the half brothers...
