Historia
After the Renegade mission by the crew of the starship Flying Dutchman, the UN Expeditionary Force thought Earth was safe for hundreds of years, at least. After there was trouble on the home front and the president had to authorize a nuclear strike on an American city, UNEF decided they did need the Merry Band of Pirates again. So, the Flying Dutchman is sent out on a simple recon mission. But for the pirates, nothing is ever simple, and their mission will become Armageddon.

Starts a dozen plots, zero follow-through
Revisado: 10-12-22
this story feels like a string of random ideas, most of them repeating the same basic concept and not giving any new depth to the story. Also, the protag is a marry-sue; given everything, so challenges or setbacks... not that he had much of a goal either.
*The one good point is the voice acting. No problems there.

I've been listening to this guys episodes on youtube for years. The short version is this...
If you want to be told a normal story, look elsewhere. If you want to actually understand the concepts that so many sci-fi shows are based on, then spend alot of time on this podcast. Pick a topic, and just start listening. Don't know where to start, just click one at random. You wont regret it.

good voice, paper thin story

as the review title says, the narrator is good but nothing in the story has any weight to it. also, main character is a Mary sue.

another 5/5 entry
Revisado: 02-08-20
every time another book in the series is added I fear the author may end up dragging it out beyond the stories ability to entertain, but so far that hasn't happened.

Expected a space horror, received a LGBT sob fest
Revisado: 10-02-19
the headline says it all. This was supposed to be a space horror, and there is somthing of a horror story mixed in. But the authors focus and attention was clearly on on the LGBT aspect. Ultimately I would say that there is about a third of a horror novel here, and the rest is just 'woe is me' stuff that was completely unnecessary and distracting.
