I couldn't put it down!!!
Revisado: 05-09-20
I am not sure how to write this review without spoilers... So all I am going to say is that it is a beautiful dark twisted story and I could not stop listening. This was my first Colleen Hoover novel and I am a fan!

Historia
The $20 Note follows an ordinary bank note on an extraordinary journey through the streets of New York and beyond, from the borough of Queens to the heavens above. We follow the note as it travels from one person to the next, unbeknownst to them, as they go about their daily lives, those of which vary wildly between normality and causality.

Quick interesting listen
Revisado: 03-05-20
Another interesting story following the adventures of a bank note. I will be honest that I enjoyed the £20 note story more. Characters are diverse and interesting and from all walks of life. Narrator does a stellar job in bringing the story to life. Only critique is that it was all over far too quickly. Would really enjoying following more of the adventures of these bank notes!

Thought provoking and fun!
Revisado: 03-05-20
I really enjoyed this little Novella! David is very good at bringing completely different characters to life and giving them plenty of "personality". I thoroughly enjoy his style of writing. Complex and simple at the same time. My only critique of this story is it was over far too soon and I found I wanted to know more about the £20's journey when the story had come to an end. Narrator did an excellent job with his performance! Look forward to listening some more!

Great story
Revisado: 02-12-20
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Easy to follow story line, but still in depth with just the right amount of detail. My only criticism of this story is the Rafael- Gia relationship. The cynic in me just didn't buy it. Looking forward to reading the rest of Colleen Cross's books. Definitely a fan!

Difficult to follow, but a good story
Revisado: 02-12-20
I found this story very difficult to follow in the beginning, but as it progressed it became easier. There are many moving parts. Really enjoyed the characters, but would have liked it if Elliot's psyche was explored a bit more. I think this is one of those rare books that would be better as a movie, but still remains a good story.

Dark and twisted... I loved it
Revisado: 02-12-20
I loved this book... It is dark and twisted and not for the easily offended. Narration was amazing. Did not see all the twists and turns coming and took me a while to figure out one specific thing... But when the penny dropped... Oh my word! If you like twisted and dark psychological stuff, you will enjoy this one!

Feel good, but predictable
Revisado: 02-12-20
I found this to be more of a romance novel than the suspence of uncovering secrets that the summary indicated it would be. If you like mushy, cliche love stories then this may be your cup of tea.
Pro's:
Feel good story
Relatively easy to listen to audiobook
Con's:
Long winded descriptions that didn't add value to the story
Dialogue format left a lot to be desired
Predictable outcomes, no twists or turns
