Historia
Levitt and co-author Stephen J. Dubner show that economics is, at root, the study of incentives: how people get what they want, or need, especially when other people want or need the same thing. In Freakonomics, they explore the hidden side of...well, everything. The inner working of a crack gang...the truth about real-estate agents...the secrets of the Klu Klux Klan. What unites all these stories is a belief that the modern world is even more intriguing than we think. All it takes is a new way of looking, and Freakonomics will redefine the way we view the modern world.

one of the best non fiction books ever written
Revisado: 02-13-22
So much interesting information and the data to back it up, and very well written. There are not many books, especially nonfiction books, that I can re-read or re-listen to multiple times and still find Interesting, but this one I can. Also I love the way Steven the writer is able to to take such random and unrelated subjects and make them flow together so well.

Historia
In richly anecdotal detail, Goleman brings to life the field of social neuroscience that has emerged in the decade since the publication of Emotional Intelligence. He shows that, far more than we are consciously aware, our daily encounters with parents, spouses, bosses, and even strangers shape our brains and affect cells throughout our bodies. Our relationships create a setpoint for our daily moods and influence our immune response; they are crucial to achievement in students and workers; they determine whether or not some genes are expressed, for good or ill.

The Most Useful Book on Audible
Revisado: 10-02-20
This book is amazing I purchased it 8 years ago and have referred back to it more times than i can remember. Not only does it help you declutter, it helps you deal with the psychological issues that cause clutter in the first place.
