Talk about a court of ruin
Revisado: 11-09-23
Sarah J. Mass… this book took me the longest to finish out of any of the series I’ve read so far. Partially because of the overwhelming amount of detail. At some points I found it unnecessary and just wanting to skip ahead to the good stuff but I didn’t. I didn’t bc I realized why those details were important to immersing the reader into this world and all of the feelings with it. Tamlin is still not on my hood side and when is Feyre going to do precisely what she was don’t not to??? It’s be boring if she actually listened I guess. This book has me angry and sad and clinging to the edges of the book with white knuckles as I read and listened. All I have to say is I CANT WAIT FOR CASSIAN AND NESTA TO HAVE THEIR TIME TO SHINE.

Historia
Malcolm Gladwell, author of New York Times best sellers including Talking to Strangers and host of the podcast Revisionist History, uses original interviews, archival footage, and his trademark insight to weave together the stories of a Dutch genius and his homemade computer, a band of brothers in Central Alabama, a British psychopath, and pyromaniacal chemists at Harvard. As listeners hear these stories unfurl, Gladwell examines one of the greatest moral challenges in modern American history.

Not Sure I understood

Never got the point over the edge. Would have liked to heard more detail on some of the raids. It seems they would get you into a part of a story and not tell you the full details of what happened. I did enjoy the sound effects and live recordings.

Historia
The latest adventure from best-selling author Ben Fogle explores what we can learn from nature about living well and living wild. What can rowing across the Atlantic teach us about boredom and about patience? Can coming down from Everest take more resilience than climbing up in the first place? How can the isolation of the South Pole highlight what’s most important? And how can we tap into the same reflective state in our daily lives?

Not so much about adventure
Revisado: 11-24-21
I enjoyed the stories about some of the adventures and would have liked to heard more about them. It seems the focus was more on personal beliefs and motivation. Just expected to hear more adventure and not opinion.
