I really enjoyed this book but I didn’t enjoy the narrative choices. It occasionally took me out of the story, ruining the experience. I know it’s a personal preference so I’ll just have to check who narrates future stories before choosing to listen.

Great performances and fun stories!!!

This set is so worth it!!!

The banter is top tier, the stories entertaining and the voice acting is fantastic! The dialogue of the characters other than the leads is so much fun and when the male character breaks out the Irish accent… *swoon* I am SO looking forward to continuing on with this series to see where it goes!

The heroin is annoying and sometimes unlikable. I wish I’d skipped this one instead of wasting 5 hours on it (at 2x speed because ugh).

This series is so fun!

I am constantly laughing out loud at the banter between everyone in these stories! Very modern setting and mostly everyday issues. My only complaint is the male narrator sounds too “California surf boy” and speaks way too slow. If I hadn’t sped up the narration I wouldn’t have been able to finish it but the female narrator is excellent! She saved the story for me!!! Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!!!

No. Just no. especially with Surfer Boy as the male voice actor. I couldn’t even finish it, I barely started it. I gave it 4 chapters but I couldn’t stand it.

“Batman” took me out of the story

The story was good but the voice actor reading the male sounded too much like he was trying to be Christian Bale as Batman. I even sped it up and it didn’t stop distracting me. It was very difficult for me to finish the story.

Started for the story, stayed for the Bromance!

This story was so so good…until a certain point for me. It was funny and I adored the friendship between the players! The meet cute was just that, cute! And the building of their romance was both fun and exciting. It took a turn for me when got together. I found Winnie to be hypocritical. And her paranoid roommate was beyond annoying. It became difficult for me to finish, I hung on for the scenes with the players all together, their camaraderie and good humor made this story for me. The story ending was okay, I’m more looking forward to seeing the guys together again in the future stories and seeing what hijinks they get into while falling in love!

Cute and fun listen!

This was funnier than I expected and the vocal performance was perfect! They really brought these two characters to life for me. The story was really good, I just had a bit of a hard time believing one part of the storyline. But the rest was really fun and worth me overlooking the small issue.

Performance was distracting

The story was good, even though the heroine had instances of naivety. The vocal acting was lackluster. They spoke so slowly, I listened at x1.4 speed. The choices for the tones/accents took me out of the story multiple times, they didn’t fit the characters. It made it a difficult story to finish.
