What Happened? Spoilers!
Revisado: 03-21-25
War of the Noobs without using War Leader skills? That is just weird and maybe an over-site. I can't believe no one has mentioned it. Especially after hours of War Leader skills explanations in other books. Still enjoyed it, and got my Shart fix on (aka the BIG DOG). I have read the comments about folks not liking the ending, Or the author breaking the 4th wall. Shart has been breaking the 4th wall for a while now with his comments about books, and endings are always difficult to appease the masses. It is the non use of War Leader skills in a war that bothered me. There were other inconsistencies but I will let those slide. I will still listen to the next book.

The last time we saw our intrepid hero, Jake had barely managed to escape being trapped on a dead version of his own world. Using a combination of his new powers, he threw himself backward through time, back to when the god that trapped him first rose to power.

Narrator change is very well done.
Revisado: 03-23-24
I love Baldree as much as anyone, but this change did not effect the story for me at all. Pirhalla does a great job. The story arc didn't go the way I was hoping, but I enjoyed it.

Historia
Randy Lionheart used to be your typical down-on-his-luck fantasy writer--sure of himself but secretly insecure, penniless, prone to rants, and with more ideas than he has good sense. All of this changes once he is mysteriously portaled to the fantasy world of Genera, where he accidently becomes a barbarian. Yes, accidently. It's complicated. After joining forces with a magical yet neurodivergent spellbook named Clovis, Randy finds his stride battling monsters, facing insane challenges, and solving tricky puzzles in an effort to reach the top of a tower.

Well worth the credit. Engaging story with two great narrators. The only regret you will have buying this boxset, will be that it isn't longer.

Historia
When summoned to a fantastical world and granted powers by a broken System, most freshly minted protagonists would strap on their big-boy boots and get ready for their stats to start climbing. But Fischer isn't like most MCs. In fact, he doesn't want to be a hero at all. Fame? Fortune? Power? He had enough of all that in his old life. Discovering forbidden fishing techniques and petting every cute animal that comes within scritching distance? Now that's a good time.

Decent story
Revisado: 03-23-24
The story is ok. The narration is great. The author said on Patreon that he doesn't need your money. He said he has already made seven figures off of these books and that he writes for himself and not for the reader/listener. Thats all well and good, it was the rude way he said it that left a bad taste in my mouth. Although I have already purchased most of his books, I will not buy anymore.

Historia
Clyde Hatchett, Glaton's prodigal son, is finally home. Sure, he's got a whole new body and face, so nobody recognizes him. And technically he's not from Glaton—he's really only spent a few months there. But they say home is wherever your love resides, and since Nadya lives in Glaton . . . wait, does Clyde actually love Nadya? This is getting complicated. That, on top of all the problems Clyde left behind, which haven't gotten any less knotty while he was gone. The Senate is heating up, with numerous noble idiots vying for the throne.

Very little progression
Revisado: 12-28-23
I bought this series while it was on sale. I recommend you do the same. Not a bad story. It's just very short, with little progression. I feel like it's a 30 minute sitcom. that only comes on twice a year. Same with the Good Guy series. I like this one more out of the two.

Historia
In the magical world of Regaia, ultra-yoked orc warrior Loon (formerly loser Earthling Gabe Skelter) has rampaged across the land, gaining perks, skills, awesome powers, and an oddball crew of allies. Now, against all hope, he's found his fellow "sojourners"—classmates of Gabe's who were also transported to this dangerous realm, each taking up their own new forms. Of course, some of them are still major asshats, but that's just the start of Loon's problems.

What a short strange trip it's been
Revisado: 12-18-23
Loved the snark. Comparing someones cooking to tasting like boiled deodorant had me cracking up in bed at 2am. Didn't care for the MC being clueless 90% of the time, but that seems to be the norm in the genre. The end seemed very rushed. I mean book two was one long fight. Then this book skipped a lot and just summarized events after they were over. Maybe the author was just over it. The after credits were just confusing. I hope he continues the story to the end. Way to many authors start other projects after they make some money and leave behind the original ideal that got them said money. I did enjoy it. Never heard vocabulary diarrhea done better. Johnathan Mclain did an outstanding job with the narration.

Not all that long ago, Gabe Skelter was an unimpressive, overweight, snarky teenager with more mouth than muscle and more attitude than attributes. Then, during a deadly trainwreck, he was transported to another reality. On the world of Regaia, Gabe is a different person entirely: a massively jacked-up warrior orc known as Loon. The dud has become a stud.

It was Ok
Revisado: 07-31-23
I found myself using the volume button a lot. As the other comments point out, there isn't much story progression. The pace he is setting, he must have a 30 book arc in mind. I did laugh and it's very likable. I still think I'll let this story set for a few years. Unless he makes book 3 much longer. If not , I'll wait for an omnibus or a sale. Narrator was great,,but there are many occasions of it going from screaming to whispers.
