Historia
In the vein of classic authors such as Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, and Arthur C. Clarke, Nathan Arkwright is a seminal author of the 20th century. At the end of his life he becomes reclusive and cantankerous, refusing to appear before or interact with his legion of fans. Little does anyone know, Nathan is putting into motion his true timeless legacy. Convinced that humanity cannot survive on Earth, his Arkwright Foundation dedicates itself to creating a colony on an earthlike planet several light-years distant.

Simplistic storyline with way too much melodrama

A nice read
Revisado: 04-03-23
This was a good mix of human relevancy and forward thinking with a splash of science. The drama parts of the families in book 3 were a bit much, but story wise, this was well done. It was to the point and provided a high level of research into space travel.

This was a fun ride.
Revisado: 03-10-23
The writing is a bit rough at the start. By the time I got to the second chapter, I put my mindset in the way of an old Noir film with magic. After that, I was flowing with each word. The way magic is explained feels like it has a deeper impact on not just the world, but the individuals That practice it. I can’t wait to read the next books. Looking forward to it more like.

Historia
No evildoers have tried to flatten Peter Parker in weeks. His marriage to Mary Jane is stronger than ever, and he's enjoying his job as a high-school science teacher. Life is good. Naturally, that doesn't last. When Peter learns that his old enemy, the Rhino, is on a rampage in Times Square, he suits up as Spider-Man to stop the destructive villain in his tracks. But he's unexpectedly foiled in his attempts by the Black Cat, a former ally and old flame. The Cat informs Peter that the Rhino is just a distraction - the real threat comes from a group of Ancients.

Maybe call it “The Longest Hour”
Revisado: 03-10-23
It’s not bad. They clear up some misconceptions of Spidys past allies not being able to help. After reading Storm Front, it runs the same way Dresden goes through his day. The bad guys I think were "Stangely" placed, but I dont feel like this was his darkest hour. Spiderman getting wrecked by the Sinister Six and dying would be his darkest hour. I never really felt like he was in real danger nor MJ or anyone else to make this title stick. I would call this one "The Longest Hour" more than his Darkest....
